What you say is true..But the dogs which are bred do not hv to work,just prove themselves as real danes. Protectors as well as hunters. That's all.Or perhaps for sport(which is pretty gross) The working danes/dogs to be bred in the first place hv to hv first and foremost, good and stable temprements. As with all dogs,socialization is key. If you socialize the dog with humans,children and other dogs. He definitely will know the difference. The hunting dogs are proven pets as well. Go through the sites and you'll know. These dogs are also trained to hunt/scent for specific prey,hogs in this case.They don't simply hunt everything that moves. Unfortunately,no. As for training...I'm not too sure. They hv to hv the right drives, esp prey drive.
