yesterday i saw a adv in star newspaper about the great dane's breeder in penang, i called them n they told me that the male pup they want to sell RM1700, female RM1600.... all black and white on chest...some are totally black... their parent(father) got champion last week in the competition in penang dog show... what do u think??
The one with white on the chest is not worth 1600/1700. It's a show disqualification.
What abt the dam?Ask him abt the dam...which bloodline how tall(in inches and height at the shoulders),how heavy..
Ask him what's the name of his dog,what did the dog win, how many other danes was he competing against and which bloodline..
Then you can really see the worth of the dog..just coz he "wins" does not mean he's great. I've seen some not so good dogs frm petshops which gets CC's and RCC's...and eventually will become Mal Ch or Mal Gr Ch.

well.......to me......the hind legs a bitttttttttt not strong lar...cos i only saw the backside part
i din really take notice of the topline........but i know the dog needs more excersize cos he was not moving well. need to tone up the muscles....his walk was very sluggish
Looks like the sire(if it is the same dog) is harlequin. Too bad no harlequin pups.

yes....sooner of later become a CH but a grand champion?...crazy arh even my dogs also difficult to win BEST in group or reserve best in group..how can u expect pet quality to win BIG or RBIG?..wat more BIS(this wan memang OUT of reach..HEHheheh)!!
actualy......its really up to u if u get a good line good everything GD u dome excersize it the legs also become liek that lar thats the problem with big size dogs
