"Finding MiMi". Pls help!! I miss her deeply... Can't Post
Dear All,

My dog is stolen by last Monday (17/11) from Bandar Puchong Jaya. I have already tried a lot of possible ways to search for her: flyers, emails, visit PAWS, vet & pet shops. However i still coundl't get her back! What else can i try to look for her?

Fyi, i have advertised it at The Star Newspapers. Do check it out by this Saturday. I really need your help to keep an eye on it. Since she is already missing for few days, i suspect she is re-sold to somebody else. So, she might be just near to you. Please help me to keep an eye on your neighbour or ur housing area. Thanks in advance.

Pls inform me too if u meet any illegal dog seller. Or how can i meet those fellows?

Attached is her recent photo. Pls call me (016-2179739) immediately if u find her.

Hi, my name is sharon. Both of us have the same fate, i lost my doggy too, a shih tzu on 24.11.2003 Frown. We have to pray hard that whoever who found them will return back the doogy to us. I really miss my doggy. Good luck to both of us !!!!!!! Wink

Ur dog is stolen or just run away? where did u lose ur doggie? what action u have taken to search for ur doggie?

Yes, i miss my dog very much also. I can't forget every moment i have spent together with her. She is so cute and everyone in my family loves her so much!

Yes, i hate those dognapper very very much! They can't understand our relationship with our pet. They thought they are only a pet and we won't care much when they got stolen or missing! I will sure "kill" them if i've found out who stole my MiMi away Mad

I heard Sungai Buloh Pasar Malam (Wednesday) is selling illegal dogs sometimes. I also heard about the pasar malam in Subang. But not sure where are there, so i didn't go there and check. But i did go to SS2 pasar malam (both Mon & Thursday) to check out. Only got mixed breed dog is on sale! I will go tonight again if no raining. Don't worry, i will inform you immediatly if i saw your Pui-Pui. And you too, please inform immediately you have spotted any similar dog like my MiMi.

My dog is only a mixed breed dog. Not like your dog is a pure breed, so i really don't understand why they want to steal my MiMi away...FrownFrown

pasar malams selling doggies?

can they do that? and how are we to know whether the dogs are treated well etc?

i last saw people selling fishes and tortoises..and its sad to see the fishes swimming amongst the dead fishes...and later just see the seller scoop out the dead fish and buang dalam longkang!

disgusting is not enough to describe my feelings...so its kinda off limits for me the current moment to venture to pasar malams except the one at taman desa as no one sells any live animals.

Yes, they do. But only once a while, not everytimes. I think they will only come out when they got dogs to sell. I can't confirm the dog they sell is the stolen dogs or their own puppies. Anyway, i never met anyone is selling pure breed dogs, they normally sell mixed breed. But i heard sometimes Pasar Malam got selling pure breed, but i never met them before.

Frankly speaking, i'm a crazy animal lover. I love dog very much, and i love fish too. But i never have fish anymore since primary school. I feel that the life for fish is very short.

Where are you staying? Pls help to keep an eye on my MiMi ya, Thanks Smile

i stay in taman desa.

do you have mimi's pics? sorry to ask...i'm kinda new in this site.. have yet to fully manouver the site...so i sometimes do ask stupid questions.

i like animals...with the exceptions of snakes and worms. maybe worms are not too bad...but worms...i would walk a big round just to avoid a dead flatten snake...or even stay in the car when everyone else alights to go to the snake temple...Unsure

its not a nice feeling.

i remember when our geri went missing...i went round the neighbourhood a couple of times again calling out for my dog.
people must have thought that we are a bunch of mad folks..but who cares...all i just want geri back!

turns out that some folks dognapped her and kept her in his apartment. when someone informed him that the owners are looking for the dog at his home, he had the cheek to come over to our place and claimed that he was the owner etc...but could not produce evidence that geri was his. plus the fact that he could get geri to run some tricks.

all we did was show geri's pic in various part of our home and with our another dog crackers...plus getting her to give heer signature "2 hand" shake hand...and he gave up.

but the next few days was heel. coz the guy just kept coming to our home to insist that geru was his. wanted to climb over our walls. and he even threatened to call the cops...to which our neighbours told him to go ahead...that turned him off and we have neever seen that chap every again...

whew....

but the moral is always to be persistent and pray (keep fingeers crossed) that your doggie would be fine and woulkd one day return to you soon....

Huh? You have the similar experience also before huh? But you are very lucky, able to get your dog back!! How i wish i could meet my MiMi back. I looked at her pic again just now (when forwarding the pic to you), i find that i still miss her very very much. Sigh...she is my babe, how could the dognapper be so cruel to take her away from my arm????? FrownFrown

How could check if my dog is also kept in an apartment? It's hard to do so becoz i can't check each apartment one by one. And i don't think the guard will let me in also.

Sometimes i also suspect my MiMi is stolen by someone, who is nearby my house and wanted to keep her. Becoz my MiMi is not a pure breed dog, so they can't sell her for a very good price. Thus, dognapper shouldn't be interested in her. But i've already tried to go around and around my housing area, but i still couldn't find her...

My heart is really broken...my life is never happy again after she is missing...sigh...

Carmen,

It's our hard time to go through now. I'm feeling very sad also. I also can't do my work for the first week. Sigh...but what to do!! Life still has to go on.

I will try my best to keep looking for MiMi (I will never give up), but at the same times i won't let it to affect my normal life and work.

have u distributed her pics in ur neighbourhood. photocopy and place in people's mailbox. you'll be surprised that there could be mystery tippers...

also make mention of her special tricks in ur photocopy flyers.

its a real cheap effort but may well do the trick unles you are into walking teh neighbourhood screaming for your dog. we thought we heard some barks from teh condo...but dismised the idea..true enough...geri was actually kept in that very condo that we thought we heard voices coming from!

go one searching..don't give up...

i think its a crossed platform issue...i am on mac oss x. microsoft word can sometimes be a little gila...sorryBlush

Nope, i didn't try to distribute the flyers to all of my neighbour. I only put the flyers at lamp post and public telephone. However, somebody will sure take it down after few days. So, on and off i will go to put up the flyers again.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will consider it and might do it by this weekend or after work within these few days.

Sigh...i just can't stop thinking of my MiMi. My heart is still very pain whenever i miss her...FrownFrown

I know how difficult it is. The uncertainty is what is most troubling. If we know it is stolen and is now with someone caring, it is not so bad. It's just not knowing what has happened to the poor thing.

Hi Audrey,

It's true. If i know she is fine now and under another person's good care. Then, i won't be so sad and worry about her.

The most cruel thing is i totally lost contact with her and she is my baby!!!!! I really worry about her. Since she is a queen in my house and everyone pamper her so much (including her parents and one of her sis and bro), so could she adapt to her new environment without all of us besides of her?????

Sometimes i feel sad too when i looked at the food she used to eat before. I was thinking whether she has the chance to eat all those food or not under the new environmen. Is she free also to go anywhere she likes in the house or not? Last time, she even jumped onto my bed. Sigh...my mind is always thinking of MiMi only.

Can u imagine? After about one month plus she is missing, but i still miss her so much and even cried sometimes again...i just can't forget every moment we have spent together. My heart is so pain...

I appreciate that all Puppy.Com members could understand my feeling and give moral support to me Smile

Hi a_evie,

Yes, 3 doggies. Princess the Lab cross stays and looks after the back most of the time. She gets to go to the front to play with the others in the morning or evening. Kimmy the old Silky spends almost all the time indoors and my new MS Duchess has the run of the house.

I believe we are allowed only 2 dogs but since only 1 is biggish, and they are all very well behaved - no incessant barking - I suppose it's alright.

I live in Kepong baru; I've a min pin named Belle; bout 4 years old. I can only imagine wat it's like to lose her, like losing yur little sis, a family member, so am v. sympethetic. but dont lose hope.

Do u volunteer in SPCA/PAWS? I've read some of the treads here and it involves somewat the usual people like paulynn and ai ney etc. I've been to SPCA a few times and must have seen you guys around. Just couldn't match the names with the faces. thought about volunteering, but am not ready for the commitment yet, so I'm really, really admire all those who have given their commitment, time and love, like you guys in this forum. Am thinking about the foster programme.

My bf is from Kepong also. So, i will be in Kepong too for every weekend for dinner Smile

Yes, it's so sad to lose our baby, especially we got no idea how is she getting now. Whether she can adapt to her new environment or not...whether she has a good new master or not...

Sigh...my heart is so pain whenever i think of her. I will cry terribly sometimes also when i miss her...i just wish to reunite with her, no matter how hard i have to go through...God, please realise my dream and my wish!!!!!

Same as u, i always think of volunteer myself for either PAWS or SPCA. However, i got transportation problem. I dun have my own car and thus it's hard for me to be committed. I can only go there once a while with my little money donation Tongue

War wht coincidence, maybe one day can eat tong sui together my place.

I do drive but I'm really horrible with directions. I've been to SPCA but always my friend drive. I'm afraid I donno how to drive there meself, quite shy. But if you're interested, the next weekend u're down my place may be can drive down together, provided you know how to get there. If got gang to go gives me more motivation, though i know people like paulynn doesn't need much motivation so i cant compare, shy again..

Ha ha...dun be so shy. But too bad, i'm poor in direction too. Maybe becoz my bf fetched me there everytime. So, i just know it is at Ampang, but dunno how to get there. Perhaps next time when my bf fetches me there again, i need to learn and remember all the road Tongue

In fact, i planned to go there again last weekend. But give up on last Sat due to terrible traffic jam. Then, was not feeling well on last Sun. So end up i didn't manage to drop by. Sigh...maybe will go there again next weekend (busy for this weekend).

Today, I went to one pet shop in Pusat Bandar Puchong, opposite IOI mall and saw a mixed terrier there. That dog really looks like MiMi. I noticed that the dog has a brown pig-like nose and the colour of its fur is similar to your dog if I am not mistaken. The shop assistant did mentioned that it was a mixed terrier. That dog looks as if it is the same size as MiMi. Why don't you check it out but try not to alert the people in the shop.

Coming down from LDP ramp, you need to turn left when you see Berry cake house. Go straight, pass a cross junction, you will see some shophouses on your left. That pet shop is located there. (next to a hair salon shop, Hairozone, if I am not mistaken).

Hi Dmax,

I went there during lunch time just now. However, i couldn't see the dog u mentioned. All the dogs there is having black color nose. Then, i asked the shop assistant there (a chinese guy), he told me that he didn't sell any mixed terrier dog. Maybe yesterday there were several dogs have sent there for grooming. But, he can't recall whether there was any mixed terrier.

Can i ask u certain questions here...which shop assistant did u check with? chinese guy or indian guy? is the dog u saw yesterday for sale or only grooming? Is the dog a puppy, like few weeks puppy or few months dog?

I just dun want to miss any chance of getting back my MiMi. Maybe somebody has kept her and sent her for grooming yesterday? Can you please re-look into my MiMI's pic. If you are quite sure the dog is MiMi, then i will go to check with the pet shop again. Maybe i can give them my flyer again and ask them to call me immediately if the dog has sent back for grooming next time.

Actually, we already saw that dog with brown nose some time before christmas. It didn't occured to us at first that the dog may be belong to you. Yesterday night, I saw that dog again when I went there again to buy something. I'm sure it is a mixed terrier. It looks like yours because of the brown nose and the fur colour.

The dog is not a puppy but quite big already..looks like 10 to 12 months. The dog was in a cage. We didn't ask the shop assistant whether the dog is for sale or not. But we did ask him (the chinese guy) what breed was that dog and we were told it was a mixed terrier. We presume it is for sale because they put the dog outside together with other pure breeds for sale. You know, normally those for sale, they will put them outside unless we are wrong.

Just worry that those people saw our posting here and hide the dog again.

I'm sure they are trying to sell that dog...otherwise they won't put the dog outside. And I think that shop assistant may be lying because i am sure he knows that they put the mixed terrier outside. I was there yesterday night and kept looking at the dog. The dog look sad and was just lying inside the cage.

Maybe what you can do now is ask your other friends to go there again. Obviously, if the dog is yours, I'm sure they recognise you since you have been there given out leaflet. I'm sure if I were to go there again, the shop owner will suspect me. If that dog is a stolen dog, I'm sure they will hide it. Sorry, I was not quick enough to ask them more questions yesterday night.

I feel very sad when u said the dog looks sad and inside the cage. If she was really my MiMi, of course she is sad, becoz she was never been put into a cage before when she is at my house last time. She is just a queen for our family and everyone just pampered her so much! I'm sure she misses us a lot too, and thus she won't be happy...

I don't think it is advisable to approach the shop owner. I feel more suspicious towards them now.

Like you said, why they denied having a mixed terrier there and gave reason that they cannot recall whether any mixed terrier have been there for grooming recently. I saw that dog just only yesterday night being caged outside for display. Don't think they have sold it so quick.

Actually, the first time when we saw the dog before christmas, there were two dogs inside the same cage and both are mixed terrier. Both also have brown nose and look like your MiMi. Bur one is very young and I think only 4-5 month old. When I went there yesterday night, only the big one was there. So I presumed someone must have bought the small one already. Normally, we seldom see pet shop selling mixed terrier...somemore it is an adult dog....unless the dog have been there for sometime.....grown up from puppy.

My wife is very suspicious of them whether they have anything to do with so many missing dogs in puchong area.

I already emailed some of my MiMi's pic to you. Hope u can open the file and confirm whether the dog u saw is my MiMi or not. If u r quite sure of it, i think the only action i can take is to approach the shop owner directly. Of course i won't blame him to steal my dog away. I will only tell him that somebody saw my dog in his shop and if he is able to get back the dog to me, i will pay him RM1,000. But, before i take this action, i will spend sometimes to check out this shop first. Will visit them on and off...hopefully they will display the dog again for sale one day later.

I'm really lost now...i'm already running out of idea what i can do to find my MiMi. Anyway, your and your wife help are mostly appreciated. Pls call me immediately if u have come across the dog again!

Hi Dmax,

I have visited the pet shop again this afternoon. I talked to the shop owner and the shop assistant. Both of them said they never sell mixed breed dog before. The one we saw might be for somebody else, sent for grooming. I lied to them that i have seen one mixed terrier just few days ago. But they said the dog is not mixed terrier, is mixed for another breed! I just told them i'm interested to buy a cheaper dog, so i'm looking for mixed breed dog.

Besides that, they said the dog for display is not necessary for sale. Some of them is sent there for grooming only. And some of the dogs who kept in the room is for breeding purposes.

Anyway, i won't give up. I will still visit this pet shop more frequent from now onwards.

Have you seen my MiMi's photos? Can you open the file? Can you confirm the dog you saw is MiMi?

I have received your e-mail. Saw the photos but I cannot confirm that dog is MiMi. Do you have any other pictures of MiMi? Can't really see her face on the other two larger pictures. But one thing for sure, that dog has very similar nose as MiMi.

My wife feel that it is MiMi because she also remembered the colour coat and size too. On that day, that dog was caged with another younger mixed terrier. We didn't enquire whether they were for sale or not cause we have no intention of buying. My attention was caught by that dog's nose which was cute. I seldom see brown nose.

Don't think those people there love dogs cause my wife saw that indian guy kicked at that mixed terriers' cage when that bigger one barked at him. I know those kept in the air-cond room are for breeding purposes. They have one nice West Highland White Terrier inside that room for breeding. Those kept behind the shop are there for boarding and grooming.

But normally those kept in front are for sale. Cannot really trust them. If they said that the dog was another mixed breed and was there for grooming, how come after one week I still saw that dog again. Can't be grooming for a week, isn't it? Previously, that shop owner was quite friendly but now seem all of them are not...maybe their business is not doing well.

I'm really sad now. I always pay a visit to Puchong Pound and another Puchong Pet Shop, not to this pet shop. Because it looks grand, so i thought the chance for them to sell a stolen dog is zero. Thus, i never thought of visiting this pet shop again to look for my MiMi. I will be very guilty if it's confirmed that the dog is my MiMi. It's my overlook!!!!! How can i ignore this opportunity to get back my MiMi????? Some more, i used to distribute my flyer to them, so i thought they will call me if they have come across MiMi.....

I'm just wondering...if it's confirm the dog is my MiMi. Can i just approach the owner directly? can i just tell them that i'm willing to pay in order to get back my MiMi? Can you accompany me as a witness to see MiMi before?

Seem like they will deny everything even if you approach them directly. If they are really dog-nappers or selling stolen dogs in that shop, it is better for us to keep a close watch rather than directly approaching them. Chances are that they will try to sell that dog again.

If you approach them directly and say you are willing to pay them, I am sure they will deny having such dog. Worst still, they may even transfer the dog somewhere else as they don't want to get caught.

You have already asked them earlier whether they sell any mixed terrier and that you were interested to buy. But seem like they kept saying that they don't sell any mixed terrier. Shlee, though we can be your witness but it is difficult to prove what we saw is your MiMi.

The only thing I can think of is to get someone who knows that shop owner fairly well to talk to him. I'm wondering is there any such person here and hope he/she can help.

Yes, i wish i could know somebody who is close with this shop owner. But, how to get to know them? Sigh...it seems like another mission impossible for me!!!!!

That's why i need to confirm whether the dog you saw is my MiMi first. If you can confirm or 90% sure. Then, i will approach them. I don't mind to beg them...and pay them RM1,000. Do you think they will sell the dog to me to earn such a good money? How about i just ask them to help me to look for my MiMi and the reward is RM1,000? I won't blame them for stealing my dog. They can just say they have come across the dog, instead of they have stolen the dog away! Right?

Don't worry, i'm not going to approach them within these few days. Before i'm really taking this "final" action, i will still think for another better solution...and spend sometimes to survey this pet shop...

Just now on the way home, I dropped by at that pet shop again and managed to speak to the shop assistant. I enquired about that dog which we saw that day, the one which we thought is yours. After describing the dog , he remembered and told me that dog is a purebreed Lhasa Apso and not a mixed terrier. He is very sure that dog is not a stolen dog because the owner is a regular customer who always sends his dog there for grooming.

I have checked from the internet and noticed that Lhasa Apso has similar nose like your dog. And after having its furs trimmed, that Lhasa Apso does look like yours. Maybe we have made a mistake and thought that dog is yours. We apologise profusely for the mistake we made. Hope you forgive us.

Maybe you can bring your MiMi's photo and show to that chinese shop assistant and ask him to look out MiMi for you. Sorry again but we will continue to look out for her as this time we had a better look at her.

My friend went to the pet shop again just now. They told him that all the dogs in the shop right now is not for sell. It's so strange, huh? Some of the dog i saw before is for sell (they told me the price for my last visit, just 2 days ago). But now they said they are all belong to somebody. They said they will only sell dog after CNY!

I got several questions here. How come they told u the dog u saw last time is mixed terrier? And now they said is a pure breed dog? How about the younger one? They have been caged together, right? One puppy and one adult dog...

They seem like always giving different story...so i will still visit this pet shop more frequent from now onwards.

Strange, yesterday that chinese shop assistant told me that purebreed Shih Tzu there is for sale. Now he told your friend that all dogs are not for sale?

According to my wife, the one who said that dog is a mixed terrier was that indian guy, not the chinese guy.

Actually, I do find their story strange too cause if that Lhasa was sent there for grooming...that mean that Lhasa was there for a least a week cause I saw that dog again on my second visit. According to the shop assistant, the younger one is also a Lhasa and belong to the same owner, but it was not around on my second visit...only the bigger Lhasa was there.

When my wife went to check on that shop on Wednesday, she said she saw another mixed terrier with a black nose which the shop owner claimed it was a mixed Shih Tzu. When I went there yesterday, I still saw that mixed Shih Tzu there. The shop assistant said that mixed Shih Tzu there was not for sale but for grooming. If for grooming, how come the dog was still there from Wednesday until Friday unless the dog was also there for boarding.
So confusing...

Actually, I told that shop assistant yesterday about you and that you lost a mixed terrier which look like that Lhasa I saw at their shop. I told him with the hope that he can arrange for you to buy back the dog if that dog is really yours. Wondering what is happening since he now said all dogs are not for sale.

This pet shop seems very weird, huh? They seem like always giving different story to different people! I also saw the dog you mentioned, which is mixed Shih Tzu (but looked like a terrier). I saw the dog few days ago and they told me that this dog is not for sale. However, there are several dogs are for sale, which they did tell me about their price. But when my friend went there this afternoon, they said all the dog is not for sale, is either for grooming or for boarding.

I'm wondering...because they know we are suspecting thier shop, so they don't dare to sell any dog at the moment. The owner said due to CNY is coming soon, so he won't get in any dog for sale at the moment, and will only do it after CNY. Do u think it is an excuse?

We still can't confirm whether the dog u saw is my MiMi or not. But, i still suspect this shop got selling stolen dog! Maybe they are very cautious...only sell the stolen dog to close customer, not new customer like us!

I also suspected that maybe the owner also checked out this website. So, he hide the dog quickly for the next day, and thus it's so "coincident" that the dog was disappear on the next day when i visited the pet shop!

Yes, something is not right with that shop. Maybe, they are selling stolen dogs at the shop too...maybe not MiMi. Maybe that mixed Shih Tzu is also a stolen dog. Cannot trust them any longer with so many different kind of statements from them.

On Friday, I spoke to that chinese shop assistant regarding that Lhasa which looks like your dog. I requested him to let me know where the owner of that Lhasa stays so that we can look for the owner to check out the dog. But he refused to let me know the owner's address or contact no.

Morning Dmax,

Was the chinese guy friendly when u talked to him last Friday? Did he seem like hiding some fact or look guilty?

I strongly feel that something wrong with this Pet Shop. For so many times i went there, but i never seen them bath or comb the dogs there, so how come they said some of the dogs are there for grooming services?

Really appreciate your help! Since we can't confirm the dog u saw is my MiMi, so i won't take any action now. I will only visit this pet shop on and off...and WISH that i manage to meet the dog u mentioned one day later. I will call u if i need u to be my witness...thanks in advance.

Pls do me a favour too to visit this pet shop as often as u could. And call me immediately if u have come across the dog again, or any other dog look like my MiMi.

Btw, do u have any idea where's the Chinese Shop Assistant staying?

I haven't found my MiMi yet.....Frown I really miss her so much and she is going to be One Year old. I wish i could celebrate her One Year Birthday together with her and her one sister and brother.

The shop is opposite of IOI Mall. I don't dare to paste my flyer around that area, or pass my flyer to the shop owner. I'm afraid that if the shop onwer is really keeping my MiMi now, then he will hide my dog at another place after seeing my flyer. Sigh...i really lost, don't know what i should do now and what i shouldn't do!!!!!

The name is A-Z Pet Shop if i'm not mistaken. Anyway, there is only one pet shop, opposite of IOI Mall. I don't know the person name. I always saw one Indian shop assistant and one Chinese guy (might be assistant or owner). What's is your friend bad experience with them? I wish my MiMi is not with them or used to be with them...since they don't like a dog lover...

fancy seeing siberian huskies standing under the hot baking afternoon sun at 2pm and panting hard?

how about seeing a german sheperd barely being able to stand up completely in a cage? not because the ddoggie had physical problems BUT because the cage was far too small for the poor doggie.

perhaps it was not them who took ur mimi...but having heard those stories just makes me more worked up. GRRRRRRRRRRR

anyway, since you confirmed the shop. will send my fats there to look see. will ask a beautician from my office area to distribute mimi's pics amongst her morning walk kakis.

Really appreciate your help! Yes, look at them, i also feel that they are not a dog lover. They just wanna making money from their business. I also pray hard that they are not the one to steal my MiMi away or is keeping her now. Since they are not a dog lover, they difinitely won't treat their dog well.

Sigh...i'm willing to let go if i can confirm that my MiMi is being treated very well by her new loving master.....

I just don't wish to see any bad thing happen to her...my little baby...She is going to be 1 year old. I wish to celebrate her 1st birthday together with her...

Hi a_evie,

Yes, those people there are not treating the dogs well. I'm wondering whether all those dogs caged behind the shop are dogs sent for boarding or whether dogs kept by them for breeding. They all seem not well kept. That day, we saw that indian shop assistant kicked that Lhasa's cage when he barked at him.

I did enquire about boarding fee. They charge RM20 per day. It is cheap compared to the one in USJ Taipan. But looking at how they treat those dogs, I won't even want to consider at all

This shop is really suspicious! Some of my friends went there to check out the shop again few days ago. The shop assistant is not friendly, and seem like not interested to entertain them at all. When they showed their interest to buy a puppy, the shop assistant also seem like not interested at all!

I think they know we are suspecting them, so they are more cautious now, especially to new customers or new visitors. I'm sure there are something wrong with this pet shop.

I have checked internet for Lhasa. Do u think the dog u saw last time is a Lhasa instead of a mixed terrier? If the dog is pure breed Lhasa, then why they trim the coat till look like a mixed breed? Some more, the indian shop assistant also used to say that the dog is a mixed terrier! Maybe they just lied to us!

I'm not sure whether they have kept my MiMi now or not. But i'm sure there are something wrong with this pet shop. Of course i would like to check out their house if i'm able to find out where he's staying, but i know it's a bit difficult to do so...Tongue

confirm at the moment no mix terier. but i will be going personally over the weekend to check them put and buy some stuff for shalom as well.

meanwhile can we drop a line to puchong friends for their feedback on this matter?

if the shop is indeed a fraud, action has to be taken and not wait till some casualty takes place.

I think we should refer this to SPCA. As long as the dog can move and stand in the cage should be fine. I'm sure this pet shop just wants making money from dog only. They don't love dog at all. I also used to see them put some of the dogs under the sun without giving them water to drink. I don't know why they want to do this...becoz they didn't bath the dog. So, what's the purpose of putting the dog under the hot sun? But i never seen they put a big dog in a small cage. Maybe i didn't pay much attention on this. Will check it out for my next visit to this pet shop.

basically i get the feeling that they are cruel. will cehck it out with afriend on this matter. you check it out at spca too. maybe we can start a new thread on this matter once we know the size etc.

I got a friend is vet. Perhaps he knows the standard size of the cage according to the size of dog. I will call him up later. But he is very busy...always didn't pick up my call unless i got to visit his vet shop directly...Unsure

Ya...maybe they put the dog under the sun is waiting for the cage to be dry after washing. Whatever it is...i never seen they showed their love to the dogs. They are just a typical businessman, wanna making money from their little doggie only.

Really wish that my MiMi is not with them now.....

It has been already 2 months plus, but my mind just can't stop thinking about you, my little baby "MiMi". Where are you now? Please return her to my arm.....

I saw your post. Poor us.....we are suffering the same. I also miss my MiMi very very much, even though it has been 2 mths plus already.....

Yes, i won't give up. I always feel that MiMi is still waiting for me to pick her up. Thus, i can't disappoint her!!!!! You too, keep looking. I'm sure one day later we can reunite with our lovely baby.

You got such a pretty dog. Perhaps somebody has found her and kept her now. Go to look around your neighour, the chance is there.....

I was so surprise just now when i checked out this forum. Suddenly, so many dogs are missing! I feel very sad whenever i read any new post about missing or stolen dog! That means there are somebody like us.....losing our baby and missing our baby so much.

Dear All,

It has been 2 mths plus already, but i still couldn't find my MiMi back. My mind is lost, hopeless and helpless.....I really don't know what i can do now besides waiting.

One of the Puppy.Com members has just found her stolen dog back. Her dog is being stolen more than 1 mth and finally she found her doggie from her neighbour. She was so happy. I'm happy for her too, but feel sad at the same time. Why the good luck is not with me yet?????

I got a call yesterday to check out a stray dog whether is my MiMi or not. I'm happy to receive such a call even though later i've confirmed that the dog is not mine. But at least it proves that somebody is still keeping their eye for my MiMi.

So, pls.....i really need your help to keep on looking for my MiMi. You may refer my pic for MiMi's photo. I really can't stand of losing her.....

I'm waiting for a miracle, a good new to me and my MiMi. Thank you very much.

For those who also lost your lovely doggie is always welcome to give me a call to share our feeling together. Wish all of us can get back our lovely furkid as soon as possible by this Monkey Year.

A lot of people, even my close friend also advised me to give up and let go.....but how could i do that? I wish i could.....but whenever i think of her.....then i feel sad again.....

My mind just can't stop thinking of her. Even though i was only with her for 10 months only, but the "strong" bond between me and her is really unexpected and is hardly understood by third party. I.....really miss her, my MiMi.

No news yet! How i wish somebody has spotted my MiMi and call me.....I think it's hard to find my MiMi, becoz my MiMi is very small in size, so most probably she is kept indoor instead of outdoor! Hi, have you ever thought of getting a new doggie? Since you are a dog lover, you can prepare a good home to another doggie who deserves it. There are a lot of doggie is desperately looking for a good home now. You can adopt them either from PAWS or SPCA. So, your life won't be that bored also. And at the same time, you can still wait for your doggie to come back.

Or another suggestion, get a gf for yourself lah.....ha ha.....Wink

What you said is correct. Luckily i still 4 dogs with me now. Otherwise, i really don't know how to kill my time when i miss my MiMi.....

nah, not for d time being cos i'm still miss my little darling a lot, don hafta heart 2 think of other doggie yet......me n my doggie hearts r one ( it wasn't just love at 1st sight, our bonding was developed gradually over a period of 4 years). Besides, my parents n my siblings don really like dogs.....sigh....always clashed wif them bout my doggie.

hmmm....got a lot of gfs right now, dunno who to choose...lol....was thinking of getting coco a new mom but she's missing oredi, so no need liao.....

I think ur Coco also wish u r happy now. Maybe u can get her a partner (new doggie) first, and then wait for her to come back. Btw, ur family might object huh? Luckily, my family is ok with doggie. My mum is a crazy dog lover also. My father and my sister used to hate dogs, but they are getting well with my doggie now. They felt sad too when MiMi is being stolen.....

u knoe sometimes.. eheh ppl might think i gila...
i feel if i bring rex or benji go out fun fun... and dun bring the other... meaning bring one only...
i feel very unfair to the other wan lor....
scared will hurt their feeling ahaha....

like if i go pet shop buy stuff then i see got cute puppies i go play.. when i go home dun wan them to smell... coz benji quite emotional ahah....
he knows how to think so i dun wan him to simply think i got other doggy in the house or watever

rex if seperated from benji will cry until very teruk...
jump here and there nonstop... he can do that for 3 days straight (if he didnt see benji 3 days) and u see him is like he so exhausted until want to die... he wont drink water or eat will just cry cry cry...

i am afraid one day when benji pass away rex will also...
i have heard many cases of 1 doggy die.. the other also coz of lonelyness...
in fact i have seen it with my own eyes... i got a fren who has 2 poms... for 10 years they live together.. 1 died and the other no semangat ... then die also in the end coz too sad Pirate

last time benji got lost for 1 week aiyo rex so teruk condition Frown

eheh ur doggy will jump here and there also in the car ?

reading about how rex reacts when benji is not there...i guess you really have to consider finding a new dog...for rex's sake. benji is already 13 years old is it? maybe you can ask your parents if it's ok to get a puppy, let both rex and benji have a new friend. Smile afterall huskies really need companionship...so it might be time to find a new pup and let rex bond with him/her. (don get a pom lar...so small...nanti rex terpijak...aiyoooo.....CrazyLaugh)

The only solution is getting another new pup for both of your Benji and Rex. Thus, they will be ok and got another friend if either one of them has gone earlier. I think you have to seriously think of that. Just to prevent anything happened if either one of your doggie has gone first.

One of my former doggie has passed away within just one month after my another doggie has passed away. I don't know the reason. But i guess it might becoz she was too sad also. This doggie is very active, likes to make friends around. Thus, when she is only alone, she will look sad. Frown

U r not gila! U just love ur doggie too much, like what i and my mum did. U know what, my mum also always emphasize that she won't bias to anyone of our doggie. When she feeds them something to eat, she will make sure everyone got the same portion. She said doggie got feeling too, so we cannot tend to bias for them. Wink

If nobody take care of them in the car, of course they will jump here and there for kepoji. Just can't be quiet! Sly

Hey, plssssss don't send the puppy to SPCA. She will be putting down in SPCA. If u really can't keep her, then u may consider sending her to PAWS. I used to surrender one abandoned puppy to PAWS before, she is ok over there. Smile

Sigh.....i'm quite busy lately. Got no time to go around again to look for my MiMi. Sometimes i strongly feel that MiMi is stolen by somebody who is staying nearby. She is only a mixed breed, so she shouldn't become a target for those dog napper, who wanted to steal her and then sell her off later. I believe dog napper is only interested in those pure breed doggie. Thus, MiMi might be stolen and kept indoor by somebody nearby. I will try to find a time to go around my housing area again. Thanks for your support and pls pray hard for me Smile

All ya .....my life is full of doggie always. Last time i used to have 3 doggies. 2 mongrel and 1 spitz. All of them is either given by neighbour or rescued from the road. But the spitz has passed away when he was only 6 yrs old due to kidney problem. After that, we have rescued another stray doggie. So got 3 doggies again Anyway, all of them now is living happily in the heaven Frown

And now i got 5 doggies (plus MiMi). The parents are given by neighbour. They are all my little baby no matter what breed they are or even just a mongrel. My mum is a crazy dog lover too. My dad and my sis don't really like doggie, but they have improved a lot now becoz of well trained by me and my mum. Tongue

Wow, u r moving to bungalow next yr ah? Still in USJ area? So, which breed r u going to buy? Poodle? Pug? Terrier? Shih Tzu? Golden Retriever? Rottie? ha ha.....see....i'm more exciting than u Cool

my dad rather have a breed dog than mongral... although he did say mongrals are better at house guarding......

oh bungalow in bukit jelutong =(
not far from the toll to shah alam ... from federal high way right after subang got one toll to klang and shah alam wan... right after that toll u turn up and go straight for about 5 minutes can reach =)

ekekkekeke i wan so many doggy lahhhhhh
i think cannot finish listing the breeds lerr.....
i like a lottttttttt but i narrow down to the list of posible doggys we will get
wan pom la border collie la wan poodle also can and rots and doberman and bullterrier and bernese mountain dog and HUSKY and kuvasz ehheheeh too many moree !!Crazy

Aiya, u must train ur bf loves dog too, otherwise how can u have a lot of doggie after married, right?

In fact, mongrel is a good dog, just doesn't look pretty only. I also wish to have pure breed doggie, especially i'm a superfan for Shih Tzu. But never have one before. My male doggies are very hamsap one. Now even affected one of my female doggie. She sometimes will do the samething to her mother. Oh my god! I was really laughing when i saw what she's doing. Just simply follow others Crazy

I have the same experience too few yrs ago when i was only 22 yrs old. I went to Thailand for my family trip. The tour guide bought the kid ticket for me when we went to a theme park. The tour guide knew my age, but she purposely bought the kid ticket for me for saving money. She said the people there must think i'm only a kid! Crazy

Huh? Forgot? Maybe they are just too busy. If i'm not mistaken, someoen has responded to your post and asked you to mail her coz she got a better suggestion for this spitz puppy, right? Did u mail to her? What did she suggest?

I got a friend, her doggie just gave birth to 6 puppies. The mother is a spitz and the father is only a stray dog. I'm helping to spread the word around in this forum too, and the response is very good. Now only left 2 female puppies are available for adoption. I'm happy to help them, otherwise my friend's mother will just throw them away even before they have opened their eyes. They are only a mixed spitz, but the response is better than your pure breed spitz puppy. Maybe people more prefer newly borne puppy. More adorable and easy to train? Crazy

Since i always saw your post end up with your love with Mimi, i could strongly feel how deep your love in Mimi. i just check out the missing story of Mimi, and felt sorry for you.

My freind's silky terrier also got stolen in last year. She got mad and searching everywhere but can't find it. She posted in the newspaper and give reward for RM1000 in return, but..Frownthe dog had acompany her for 8 years and get old and have no more fur at the backside, such dog also get stolen.Unimpressed My freind just worry that others can't take good care of the dog since he is sensitive in food and need to give treatment on the skin frequently. So sad.....

i can't view the attachment photo of Mimi, will try later. I heard my freinds said that they got a dog (i'm not sure what breed) from PJ, they saw the advertisement of the owner looking for the dog, but they refuse to bring it back since they like it very much. Since i'm not very close to them (actually only know each other few days), i can't give any advice and i don't think they would listen to me. Hope they will treat the dog nicely.

Thanks for your concern about my MiMi. It has been 4 mths plus already, but i still couldn't forget every moment that we have spent together before. U know what, i just dream of her last night. I was playing with her in the dream, i hug her and kiss her. I was so happy, i thought she is already back to my arm, but after i woke up.....i realise that my dream hasn't come true yet Frown

But of course i have calmed down myself a lot now, not as crazy as before. My heart was taken away at the moment that she was stolen away! MiMi is very special to me if compared to my other dogs. Normally, my dogs are only attached to my mum, coz i'm not always at home. But MiMi is different, she is very attached to me since she's born. She borns at my house. She likes to follow me to wherever i go, even to toilet Smile This is why i love her so much. She is exactly like my own baby.....

MiMi is only a mixed terrier. I always wondered why they wanted to steal her away?!!!!! I don't think she can be resold for a good value, some more she was already 10 mths old when being stolen! Normally, people like to steal pure breed puppy, right?

Sorry for ur friend. I understand how did she feel. I had done the same thing.....advertised it in newspapers and also offerred RM1K reward. But in return, i still couldn't find my MiMi Frown

I felt angry about ur another friend! Mad Sorry to say about it.....he can't understand the dog's owner feeling. When a person is willing to spend some money for the advertisement, it already showed how desparate the owner is for looking their missing dog. He should return the dog to the rightful owner! If somebody can return MiMi to me, i'm willing to buy a pure breed dog to them as a reward if he or she is a dog lover too. I'm just willing to do whatever i could to get back my MiMi.

Let me know if u still couldn't open my pic. I can send the pic to ur email add if convenient. Smile I wish u can keep an eye for my MiMi too. Who knows, u r my lucky star to get back my MiMi. Thanks. Wink

Viewed your mimi's photo, will keep an eye on it. Can understand your feeling, the puppy that we brought up by ourself is really different from those we adopt or buy from the petshop. I also have a puppy that taking care by me since she was born and growing happily under my companian. that feeling really like being a mother and watching our baby growing up.

Thanks for your understanding and willing to share my feeling. It's true, our bond with those furkid that brought up by us is much more stronger than those dogs that we bought or adopted.

MiMi is always in my mind. I even think of her everyday. But i feel helpless now coz i'm already running out of idea where to get her. I have tried a lot of possible ways, but still fail to get her back.

Who told u about the new? It is actually a good new for u, coz u will have a direction now to look for ur baby. R u sure the guy will be coming every night? If yes, then u should try to wait for them and talk to them. See whether they r willing to return ur dog or not. Maybe they will ask for some money, sort of ransom. How about report to police? U r luckier than me. I totally got no idea where is my MiMi now and who has taken her away from me! She just like suddenly disappeared from my life. She is not a pure breed dog. So, i always wondered how come she will be stolen away?!! Normally, only those pure breed doggies will attract the dog thief, don't u agree with me?

I just wish that the person who has taken my MiMi away is becoz she/he likes my MiMi, so she/he will treat my MiMi very well also. And they are still somewhere around my housing area, so i will stand a higher chance to meet my MiMi back one day later. It is the only thing i can wish now.....Frown

I won't buy only one brand of dog food for my dogs. Sometimes we just simply buy the dog food when the dog food in on promotion. What brand of dog food u buy normally? U just feed them by dog food? Would u feed them by rice or bone sometimes? Besides dog biscuit for my dogs every morning, my mum will cook chicken neck for my dogs. And of course almost everyday, they will share our dinner. Those left over food will be given to my dogs. Is it ok ah?

well diff ppl got diff opinion..
some says dont need dog food... just give them the left over rice...

some people how ever says cook food is bad coz too much salt for them so they use dog food..
but from what i see...
if the dog grows up with dog food and u suddenly give them rice..
they will have diarrhea... not saying they dont enjoy the food... but the tummy cannot take it..

Same goes with dogs which eats rice and people food all the time..."
u give them dog food and then they get diarrhea too...

i guess just make sure their food is not salty...
and once i think this pet shop owner told me b4 corn is not good for dog...
so certain dog food which has corn is not good.. i dont know how true this is..

my mom very particular about their food..
(also wat ppl call water fish) promote promote sure she willl buy
the most expensive also she will buy...

we get dog food but those really expensive ones... like rm 200 ones Crazy
it'd be good if it really makes the dog healthier... but no one knows for sure ?

My mum just doesn't care. Just feed my dogs whatever they like. Sometimes my mum even purposely bought some human biscuit for them to eat Crazy I already told my mum to control our dogs' diet. But she just can't resist if the dogs look pity and hungry to her. Sigh.....

No wonder all of my dogs are over weight lah.....Tongue

everytime i see them i also so tempted to feed them..
my bf often ask me... why is it the only way to show love is feed an animal..
like if u see a stray dog on the streets.. if u got food sure u wanna feed..
or places like made especially to feed the animal..

I also told my mum don't over feed our dogs becoz of their health problem. But my mum just doesn't listen to me. Tell u what, all of my female dogs are over weight especially they are being spayed. Feeding our dogs is one way of showing our love to them. It is because it is their favourite or hobby mah! See, what would normally a dog do? Play + eat + sleep! And for them, whatever eaten by us is very tasty, and thus they want their portion too. Smile

My mum used to feed my dogs with chocolate. Last time, one of my former dog loved to eat chocalate so much. Later, he has passed away due to kidney problem at the age 6 yrs old only. Don't know it is due to chocolate or not.....Pirate

Now, i already banned my mum feeding my dogs with chocolate anymore after reading some information from this website. Thx god! Not too late ah? Tongue

Ya lah, all of my female doggies are over weight, but my mum still feed them oh. My mum said she hardly control their diet. Becoz once she prepared food for them and put the food on the floor, she will go to do other things. And when she comes back, she don't know which dog has over eaten. U know lah.....we got so many dogs. Hardly to control them, unless stand there and see them eating all the time.....

Ya lor, maybe my former dog is passed away becoz of chocolate Pirate But last time when i asked the vet, the vet said my dog has natural kidney problem.....anyway, i don't trust this vet. My dog actually seem recovering.....after few treatment. Then i asked the vet, can i bath my dog now. He said yes. But after i bathed my dog, he immediately got sick. I quickly sent him to the vet again. The he passed away on the next day due to flu. So.....i was actually very guilty for him. If i didn't bath him, i think he could be recovered! And i angry at the vet Mad

So now i'm more careful taking care of my doggies.....

Luckily, recently i've found a nearby vet, who is my secondary school mate. But i'm not close with him. As what i can see, he is a dog lover too. So i believe he is a responsible vet. Some more he is a chinese, easy to communicate! Smile

Yes, i speak with my vet in Chinese. I'm a Chinese mah.....more easy to communicate with our own dialek. Or else, sometimes i don't know how to explain to the vet about my dog's problem. Anyway, he is good in other dialek or language too. U can speak with him either in English or Cantonese. There is another vet there can speak well in Hokkien. Sometimes it's hard to find a Chinese vet, don't u think so? Smile

Few days ago, i met a dog look like my MiMi. But at that time i was rushing to work, so didn't check out the dog properly. Then, every morning, i tried to passed by the house and tried to see the dog again, but fail! The dog didn't come out.

This morning the dog came out again, but.....the dog is not my MiMi Frown But he/she is very cute too Tongue

Sigh.....my wedding is one more month later. Seem like it's hard to get back my MiMi before my wedding and let her to attend my wedding together.....Pirate

My dogs ah.....they are very lazy to learn trick one. My bf used to train one of my dog Chai Chai for shake hand. But end up he learnt to use his hand to kacau us when he requested to eat and to play with us! Crazy He misunderstood what bf tried to teach him Blush

U know what, few days ago, i was really scared to lose my Chai Chai. My mum feed him a fish. Then suddenly my Chai Chai looked like very suffering, something stuck in his throat! I was really scared, and dunno how to help him. It was already 7:30pm++, i'm sure all the vet has closed shop already.

Then, my mum and my bf tried to massage his throat. Finally and luckily, he seem fine later. Smile I was so scared until dunno what to do, luckily my mum and my bf were clam enough to help my dog. I think the fish bone has stucked in his throat.....

If anything happen to my dog again, i think i will get crazy! Pirate

My dogs know us very well. Once i'm walking towards kitchen, then they all sit under the table and wait for me to feed them. My Chai Chai will just use his hand to kacau me right after i have sit down! Can u imagine how naughty he is? He never let me have a peaceful meal before.....Wink

Ya lor. I was so scared till dunno what to do! I already told my mum many times before, don't feed them with anything c/w bone. But my mum just doesn't listen to me! And my dogs also very bad one, they like to eat bone very much! Maybe it is a natural habit for all the dogs!

Aiya, i didn't hire any prefessional to take photos for us. Only ask friends to bring along their camera. Don't feel like spending my money again for this. Professional will charge about RM1K++......no money for that Blush

camera also the 2nd basic okok one onli leh... not those advance ones that can take really nice shots
photography can cost up to 10k over leh Shocked

Is RM5000++ equipment considered a good equipment? My friend planned to start his part time job in this area, and he just spent RM5000+ for the equipment. He charged me RM1000 for 3 days events. Wow.....so expensive ah! He said he charged me very cheap, coz his main intention is to gain experience and i would be his 1st customer. Other will charge me higher than RM1000. But i didn't not accept his offer at the end, coz i don't feel like spending another RM1000 for the photos again. We already spent RM4000 for our wedding photos.....do u think his charge is cheap? Since he is totally new for it, i think he should do it free for me.....and i just paid him an ang paw later.....

Ya, feel quite nervous now.....another few more days to go for my wedding.....hopefully i will look nice on that day, he he.....

but photography.. if u're not a professional u earn very very little wan leh Frown

rm 5000 equiptment is not expensive at all...
with rm5000... you buy not those high end yet....
camera lens... a good one itself.. just the lens can be rm10000 already u know ? 10k .. thats really madnes... but it depends wan lor... those lens like u wanna take a picture of a fly eye... some small animal but can take a very huge image of it u need good lens.. many diff lens for many diff occation wan =S

I think the $ is fair enough. 1 roll of the film, the professional will change $500, so they will take as many as they can. for semi prof, they will change around $3-400.
