Puppycom
will be holding a Obedience / Agility Workshop on 21 &
22 Feb 2004 and our guest will be Mr. Tan Pak Song from
Singapore. Mr. Tan will be conducting the workshop for
puppycom members and will show and demonstrate to Puppycom
members who are interested on how puppies and adult dogs
can be trained for basic obedience and agility. This is
definitely a good opportunity for members to meet an
experience trainer and have a chance to discuss and learn
the basic technique of training a dog. The admission is
free for all dog lovers. Details as below :-

Venue: YMCA, Brickfield, Kuala Lumpur
Program: Theory on obedience and agility training +
practical puppy training.
Admission : Free
We need up to five puppies for the workshop. Those who are
coming with their puppies please do not feed them a few
hours before the demonstration.

This is another event by Puppycom and it is free to its

Mr. Tan Pak Song

Mr Tan Pak
Song is a member of The Singapore Kennel Club since its
inception. He has held the positions of Treasurer,
Obedience & Agility Training Director, Course Director
of Obedience Judges Training Scheme and Chairman of the
Obedience Rules and Regulations Review Committee during
his terms of office with the club.
In Singapore Obedience Trials since 1987, his German
Shepherd, Toy Poodle, Shetland Sheepdog, Golden Retriever
and Border Collie have had won many top obedience and
agility awards. His Golden Retriever, “Leon” was the
first dog in Singapore to win the “Utility Dog of The
Year” award in 1999. Currently, he is campaigning in
agility and advanced obedience trials with his young
Border Collie. He imported a Silky Terrier puppy last
year. This puppy looks promising and he is in advanced
training now. He should be ready in the Singapore
obedience arena soon.
Mr Tan is a fully qualified Obedience Trials judge since
1987. He is licensed to judge Agility and all classes of
Obedience Trials. He has judged in Singapore, Malaysia and
India.
