I Found Puppies!	Can't Post

What would u do if u stumbled upon 1 or a litter of mixed breed puppies by the road side/ at the market/ in the drain/ etc.?

Take them home, and keep them. I love puppies!
Take them home, and make sure I find good homes for them.
Take them, and send them to SPCA/ PAWS/ other animal shelters.
Leave them where they are, at least they are sure of a chance to live life compared to the shelters.
Leave them where they are, nobody wants mixed breed puppies anyway.
Other reason(s), please state.

Hi,

I've been in a situation like this n i got the pups not home or else my mum'll kill me...to a place which is sheltered n safe..provide them with beddings n food till i found a good owner for them Smile

What would u do then? Smile

what would i do? hmmmmm... ***in deep thoughts***

let me tell u my experience... i once found 3 puppies at an lrt station... and me being a volunteer in SPCA, the first thing that came to my mind was to send them there, as i can't keep them at home... later i found out that 1 of the puppies was adopted, while the other 2 were put to sleep as more puppies were brought into SPCA and there was no space to keep all of them...

so how did i feel at that time? did i indirectly kill 2 innocent pups? but then again 1 found a home... so what's the verdict?

until now, i am still debating with myself... and i do not have an answer... i hope i do not find anymore abandoned pups... if i do, i'll only decide what to do then...

i think i'll take them home and find good homes for them...although i might be receiving "nag-me-to-death" speech from my mom but it's still worth it !! Smile

hi,

well if u were to leave the pups, 3 of them might not survive the streets so young.

death of the 2 pups can't be blamed on yourself and on SPCA, it's all for the puppies good. and hey, 1 pup got adopted, that's something worth being happy about :)

as for myself, after my first bad bad experience in bringing a dog back home, i have never bring another dog back ever since. i would however leave them at a safer place and provide food and play almost everyday.

sometimes if u choose to bring a dog back home it doesn't necessarily helps the dog forever, in fact it'll be even harder for one to let go of the dog as it stays at our home longer and longer.

but on second thought, i think sk's idea might not be bad at all :> eheehhehe

erm... i once did place the puppies in SPCA... but after that, now i'm not sure what i would do if i ever find abandoned pups again... but SPCA would most probably NOT be my first option... Unimpressed

i came across this situation on the July 11 this year. When i'm buying dinner with my sis, we saw a woman dump the puppy at the roadside and quickly drove away. i can hear that the puppy starts to cry and its feeling nervous all alone. my sister carry the puppy up and praise him good boy. but then later i found out that its female.
then the puppy ended up staying with me but because my house got a big garden. he now got a lot of ticks!!

what will you do if you saw someone trying to dump a batch of puppies??

1) beat him/her up
2) report the matter the authority (get his/her car number plate and etc)
3)"lecture" him/her..make him/her feel guilty
4)who cares anyway.it's common...

actually i've tot about it before... set up my own doggie 'home'... with my own policies... but it remains a dream for now... until when i'm ready in all aspects... Angelic
