Vaccination Table	Can't Post

Hi guys,

Sorry for the delay. This is a yearly vaccination table. Not including the heartworm jab. This will show you what type of virus/bacterium that is covered by each individual vaccine. I would personally recommend the 9 in 1 vaccine due to an experience where one of my dogs was infected with the 2 remaining leptospira virus that was not covered in the 7 in 1 vaccine. Am lucky he survive and am still praying for his recovery. My vet says he's the first one to survive.

P/S : Being covered for 2 of the leptospira virus does not cover for the remaining 2 of it. Leptospira pomona is actually very common here and some dogs might be carriers unknowingly. It causes liver and kidney to fail.

know what, after checking the lable at the medical card and the chart you provided, I found out one thing.. the vet cheated me !!! Mad

I still remember my last visit (last Friday) for Billion's 3rd vaccination.. she said she put the 10 in 1 vaccine for my furkid.. I'm really suprised to hear that cause before that my furkid was taking only 6 in 1 (after calculating the vaccine name according to the chart; before that I thought that it's 7 in 1), why this time gave my furkid 10 in 1??? she told me before I left the clinic.. But, after checking on the chart, she gave my furkid 6 in 1 actually for her 3rd jab... well, why wanted to cheat me?? no need to tell me that it's 10 in 1, right?? she said that she charged me normal only for 10 in 1 (RM50, as usual).. so, i thought that she might run out of the 6 in 1 vaccine.. that's why she gave my furkid 10 in 1.. if she told me that it's a 6 in 1, I am ok.. no problem at all.. but, why?? just want me to trust her?? anyway, found out that she was lying.. Mad

So sorry to hear about these funny vets. Just a small price guide here for the vaccines. This differs from area to areas..

7 in 1 = RM35

9 in 1 = RM45

10 in 1 = RM80

Coronavirus is quite a rare disease so it is not so necessary but no harm covering it..

OMG... being cheat some more !!! Really bad feeling.. I will change vet for sure.. bad bad fella.. Mad

she charged me RM50 for the vaccine only.. every time leh..

then, some more deworm tablet (RM 5 / RM 10 -- not really sure, can't remember), then eye-drops - RM 5 / RM 10(cause her eyes swelled that day), and 6 pills RM 10 (for her swollen eyes; I didn't let her take actually, cause after putting the eye-drops recovered already)..

your furkid will always on your mind.. did you take any photo of your furkid? if you did, post it here for remembrance..

after reading your post, I am wondering whether I need to let my furkid to take the leptospira vaccine or not.. is it too late to let her get other vaccination? she's about 4 month old now...

It is never too late.. Get a good vet and it's worth paying a bit extra.. I won't be posting the picture up, as the dog doesn't belong to me but it was staying with me for a while and I treat it like my own dog..

oh... although that dog doesn't belong to you, you treat it nice.. so, that is enough ..

anyway, let me think of a yellow that we adopted during Sept .. there was an owner from Penang didn't want her furkid (actually her husband and daughter loves that dog very much, just that she hates dog.. ) So, when we heard of that, my brother (from KL) said he would like to adopt it.. but, he will only move to a landed property on Oct. So, before his house is ready, that yellow lab stayed with us in Ipoh. It stay with us for about 3 weeks plus. We treated him like our own dog, cause he's so lovely (about 1 year old plus). But, then during end of September, his former owner called to ask us give her back her dog cause her daughter very sad and cried for one week still missed her dog very much. Actually, we can ignore her cause is she that decided to give her furkid away. But, we really understand her daughter's feeling. So, we decided to send the yellow lab back to them. We missed that dog so much that we get our own lab now.. That's how we get this black lab.. :) But, last week I heard from my brother that when his friend go and visit that yellow lab, that yellow lab was tied outside the house, and become slimer and not happy.. We are really regret to give them back the dog cause the dog was so happy with us although he only stay with us for 3 weeks plus and now like staying miserably there..

We did think of call that lady back and asked whether she wants to sell that yellow lab to us or not.. But, we just scared that a same situation will come back (only that lady wants to sell of that dog, not her family members).. so, until now we still didn't call her. Unsure

I feel that they dun love the dog at all. Better you take it back then to have sleepless night due to worry about the dog. I would not have given back in the first place if i were you. They have to learn their lesson that once given up is not going back to them anymore..

at first, we didn't want to give them back the lab.. but, all her (that lady that hates dogs) family members boycott her until her son (studies in KL, phone back and scolded her mother), her husband won't talk to her and her daughter cried day and night. We don't want because of this dog, break the whole family. That's why we ended up gave her back the dog. We thought that she would treat him (the yellow lab) better when he's back. But, I think she treated her badly.

Actually we don't know where she stay (I meant her address, she actually is my brother's friend's customer). We did really think of visit this yellow lab during our last trip in Penang , but we scared that after knowing how he is treated, we would be more miserable, so we didn't do that.

i realise that dogs in malaysia are not vaccinated against rabies... is our bolehland a rabies-free country? coz i know in US, rabies vacc is a must... pls enlighten... Smile

btw, my vet charges rm55 for 7in1 vacc! Shocked

Different vet different prices.. Wink

If I am not wrong our boleh land is really free of rabies. In the colder countries they even vaccinate against bordatella(kennel cough) cos there bordatella kills due to the cold weather n a few other reasons..

is it? how come my google vaccine diff one.. his first 3 vaccine is 2 sticker one.. then annual one is 1 sticker, i tink 6in1... then i took my shih tzu to start his 3 vaccine, doc neva ask wat vaccine o wat wat.. jus straight suntik b4 i open my mouth.. i oso blur blur go bek.. now taking him to other vet to check

my dog gets 7in1, also 2 stickers... u ask ur vet la, whether wat he gave ur dog is how many in 1... if u go other vet, make sure u bring along the vaccination booklet the 1st vet gave u wo... Smile

Ask your dr for clarifications on the vaccine. Or you just count the number of names on the sticker lo.. That vet lady is super naive and really tipu you lo. Royal canine there are many types. There are certain types which cater to certain problems like hypoallergenic, skin support and few more types are only supposed to be sold by vet. No pet should simply eat those unless they are certified to be having those problems and the vet recommends them to eat that. Those in pet shops are the normal types. And of cos vets do have those normal types to make more money.. If it is illegal they would have hide the food, not displaying it for the world to see. Which vet you go eh.. Sounds a bit teruk.

the only vet is ss14... mayb i look a bit stoopid so the ppl working in vet tryin to con me... the doctor said my dog is 4 years old but he's jus 1 years old... the diff is soooo bigg.... i jus adopted this dog actually n he got very bad flu n cough, ask the doctor to check, he said my dog 'gonna' get flu n cough dy... then he said my dog might get skin prob too so i ask him wat to do.. he said 'u wait la'... so i was lik 'i need to wait for my dog to get skin disease n come bek to u is it?' then they intro me the royal canin food lor... i said i am feeding them the same brand, the so call illegal food... he oso inject 1 med to my dog, when ask wat is dat med he fail to ans.. he said 'it for flu n everythin'... cant believe got tis type of doctor.. so not goin der anymore...
