Actually I'm thinking of making one myself for Goofy in hometown like what Melissa made for Amber with those PVC pipes. Only at my hometown, we got much space, here in Cameron no wor..
Or I might use chairs to let him try 1st, if he can do it and love doing it, then only I make lor..Hope he'll get to be like those doggies in Chris's photos. Not that want him to join those training la, just one more thing for him exercise on weekends.

headache headache...u know what..I've tried for Goofy to do those jumpings at hometown yesterday. I throw over the ball for him..And guess what, he squeeze himself and crawl under the chair to get over to get his ball!!! And did once, he got stucked under the small chair!!! Aiyohyoh!!! I tried to throw him over, but he still don't get my meaning..Hmmm...I guess I have to let him play more and train him to jump over...He can actually do very high jumping, just that he don't get to jump over the chair... Normally even when I sitting on those plastic chair for my paper work, he could easily jump up on my lap...

actually is d same case as pacco...initially she looks such a 'chicken' when i ask her to jump over a small hurdle...alwiz tried to run away n hide herself...
but is best to jump together wit ur dog...or set it as a minimum of juz a few inches...then use food to lure them over...
Pacco de Mongrel ~ Come and join us for a doggie jungle trekking @ Bukit Gasing every Saturday morning ~
i started with broom stick the other day....i put the stick on the floor...and ask my gals to walk over it....initially sheena was a bit reluctant but bcoz of the food, she crossed the stick after a while....n no prob for sze ern....but this sasha...haiyo.....took me so long to make her cross the stick!!!!
well...but she finally did lo....
then i put the stick slightly higher...both sze ern n sheena jump over it....but sasha did not dare to jump over it even though her size is bigger than sze ern n sheena!!!
i really couldn;t understand why she is so chicken or too 'careful'...hahahhahaah

yeahlo...im hoping that by seeing the other 2 jumping, sasha will get the idea...but she will juz look at them n then walk from the side to get the treat...aiyo.....this girl ah..really giving me headache...
thanks for the advise...din know that the tiles will stress the legs...
oh btw, when u first make pacco jump, do u leash her n jump with her? or u juz hold the treat on the other side n ask her to jump?
coz currently i do not leash them (at home ma)...so the 2 gals will be jumping across many times to get the treat lo...n sometimes they will like bang to each other coz everyone wants the treat...haiyo....n if i locked 2 up while training the other 1, the other 2 will be barking pulak...can pengsan

Oh let me tell u how i got Nana to jump. I had my 2 young cousins that comes over to my plc every once in a while. What they would do is to sit on the floor with their legs stretched out straight then i would throw Nana's favourite dog toy over their legs and Nana would run and jump over their legs and retrieve her toy and run back and jump over their legs again...sometimes the kids would lift their legs higher or body higher so that Nana can go under their body..very cute of my cousins, guess both my cousins and Nana enjoyed this game..hehe.
hey, this is cute and fun too...can imagine nana jumping over their legs...hehehehhe...
but when your cousins lift the leg higher, will nana still jump over or go under? i am trying to get sasha to jump over...
i tried to do dat the other day too using the stick...
i put the treat on the other side n ask sasha to jump over to get the treat...ended up, she will walk by the side (instead of jump over) to get the treat

Poodles are smart, they definately try to find other ways one, i have an area with a narrow pathway so when my young cousins stretch out their legs, it blocks the way so Nana had to jump over their legs lor but sometimes she is smart also, she wont jump over her legs, she would go under the chair..
Erm my cousins wont lift up their legs so high lor cos if its too high, Nana would go under but Nana will still jump over their legs one..
