oooh yes yes yesssssss i've tried it already and yummmmmy...i LOVE THE SCENERY!!!!!! thankfully the roads weren't filled with cars so i was able to move my head a little and look around !! I felt like i was driving in Ipoh Valley..U know the part where u drive in between the forest and the mountains? Love the road.so smooth and nice..and long and winding...lvoe it! Not sure about the toll rates though...scary...must be at least rm1.5 die die die
went for the gathering tdoay?

hie...ooh yes i love the kenny hills road..drove there a couple of times.It's creepy and scary looking if u've never driven there before but since i drive there occasionally it's fine wiht me. i can tell u whereabouts in kl is nice to drive and look-seee.U hate construction workers i hate those motorbikers...turn around as they like...who the hell they think they are??! they turn without signal and then we langgar them our fault. Dumb.

Yea... There are some nice parts in KL but it is only worth the drive during non-peak hours... Tongue

Tell about those motorbikes... Mad

They swerve in and out of lanes like nobody's biz and when they get into an accident with a car, it is our fault.. Crazy

Hi!
Today was an awful drive for me to school today. the tun razak road was cut from 2 lanes to a lane.So motorbikes were cutting like it's their ancestors' road.C'est tres horrible!
i just hate most of the bike drivers.

*sigh*... Usual-la. KL is a mega-jam area and public transportation is really terrible.. Mad

Hmmm.. I really hate being the 1st car waiting at the traffic lights of big roads like the junction of Jln Ampang coz there will be a lot of motorbikes and they just assemble right in front of you... A mass of bikes and when the light turns green, they just whiz off, missing my car by a whisker because they want to go off first... Mad

hi,

Yes i know what u mean.You can never ever rely the public transportation here exclud the LRT trains. Ktm's unreliable!! Honestly! They have breakdowns all the time. The road system here is very very disorganized. They can't be like the Uk or the Aus. Yeh i know what u mean. But i'll just let them zoom off first only i'll start moving so else i might get a scratch from dad's car lol. I wonder when wil lthe road system here be as reliable as other countries'.

I know what you mean. Over here in M'sia, we will only build roads if 1) some datuk needs it..
2) before big elections (kekeke) and
3) when you can make big $$$ out of a small road...

Talk about motorbikes and cars... This morning, at Subang, I saw a motorbike and BMW owner arguing with each other across the road... Crazy

... I think something happened between the two and they nearly caused an accident/jam on the road... Mad

...

my story to share......

i bought a min pin a mth ago... being a naive pet lover i didn't realize that 'brownie' is not vaccinated... he showed early symptoms of the canine distemper disease such as flu and coughing... i tot it was just some mild disease as i had a doggie at home dat recover soon frm dat disease....

after a week havin brownie... he had shown good appetite and is healthy despite of the flu thing.... he's very playful and even likes to cuddle up with me... but later on... he started with another disease... that is diarrhea with some blood.... i took him to the vet clinic and he recovered a day later....

i took brownie back to my hometown in ipoh... my parents love him very muc... but sadly... can't leave him there cuz he was not vaccinated...

i came back to kl happily with brownie and as usual i fed him with his medicines n so on... hoping dat he will recover soon frm his flu to get his first jab of vaccination... but to no avail, his diarrhea came back n he started vommitting all the foods he ate.... i was so sad seeing his condition....

his condition worsened when he had his first seizure... i was shocked n numb to say anythin... all i could do is just held him by my arms and tell him dat "i luv u, brownie... b strong.. dun leave me"...

i searched thru the net to find 24 hrs vet service... n 2 hrs later, i admitted brownie to the vet hospital in jln tun razak..

brownie showed progress recovering frm his sickness in a few days time... i was so happy when his medical report showed dat he has no antibody against the parvo virus and the CDV.... he was getting better day by day... i was indeed pleased with his condition n hope to bring him back soon and shower him with lots of manjaying...

yesterday... a horrible news came in... a hospital staff called, telling me that brownie is confirmed having the canine distemper disease as he had another seizure in the morning... n she told me doctor reccomended that brownie is better to b euthanize... i was very depressed and i can't hold my tears....

i cried on my way to the hospital... n when i reached there... i saw him in pain... i hugged him... at that moment i knew there's nothin muc i can do....

brownie cried when he was euthanized... he barked n barked till his last breath... that was the last i saw of him....

i posted this story to inform ppl to b xtra careful when u buy a puppy frm the pet shop... it's really a heart ache when i saw my doggie suffering n to know that i'm gonna lose him..... i've really fallen in luv with my puppy...

i am really saddened by the lost of your brownie Frown

...and i really appreciate that you are willing to share your story with us. i know this is gonna be really hard on you, having to hold him for a while and then had to let him go again.

below is something i got from a member here when i lost my boy a few months back and it has helped me tremendously in coping with the pain. i now share it with you...and hope that you'd find some comfort in the words.

Just this side of Heaven is a place called The Rainbow Bridge ...

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor, those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.

The bright eyes are intent, the eager body quivers. Suddenly they begin to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, their legs carrying them faster and faster.

YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.

The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

i hope all the members who are reading this will understand why some of us here strongly discourage people from buying puppies and dogs from petshops. we do not want to see something like this happen again and again. please spread the message and stop buying from petshops. it is always worth your time and effort to look for a repsonsible breeder and get a healthy pup in return.

and alicia, it was a painful lesson you had to learn. nonetheless, take comfort in knowing that your little brownie is now free from suffering and is in a happy place. and he will be waiting for you when the time has come for you to be together again. and he will always be there with you...because you have him in your heart...just like i have my billy boy with me - always. Smile

my deepest condolences once again.

Yea... Came back because of family & friends. Aus eco wasn't that great at that time plus I realize that opportunities were a lot more in KL (dotcom time)... Tongue

Anyway, parents are pushing me to go get my Aussie PR to go back Crazy

... Was waiting until I got my 4yrs work experience to get more points to apply for PR. My friend got it but she was really lucky and had some letters stating that she was a member of the CPA (when she's not an accountant) in order to get her PR.. Crazy

Oh well... I heard of my other friend's bro who got the PR to NZ but couldn't find any IT work (guess he should have been a hobbit or LOTR extra.. Laugh

Ah u should i think.Everything's much much better over there if compared to being here in Malaysia. Yeh i know about the 4 yrs job thingy. My aunt's who's 24 is doingher first 4 yrs here n then migrating to melb :)

I was thinking back on my days in Uni when during weekends I would spend at either at home or a sports centre with some maters, rather than just hanging out at the mall. Wink

Pongo stays wiht my piano teacher as we co own it so he's on purina.My dogs are starting BARF. Can't remember whether i've seen u before for u to know that i'm "tall" :?

Oh right..Sorry i'm always forgetting things like these. Maybe i've met some other pongo's siblings that's why i can't remember who i met.The funny thing about my dogs r:

Josie-does not respond much to meat. Loves veggies more than meat.Will only lick the meat but will nto eat it.so that makesher a vegetarian.lol

Nash- doesn't like veggies at all.Only eat meat. Carnivor lol.

Hi,

Tried the real BARF today (celeries, chic liver,heart and dunno what other yucky stuffs! with olive oil and ACV and a cupful of Purina kibbles) . Response from dogs:

Nash-Refuses to eat any of the veggies but only the kibbles and the chicken meat and all.Proves to us all that he hate veggies just like my bro lol. Will only eat if its wrapped in a liver meat!

JOsie- Washappily crunching her way with the celeries. Good girl! But doesn't really like the raw chic as much as nash. Only eats if i pinch out the meat into a small small tiny piece.sMaller than her kibbles!

Conculsion: Still the same. nash the carnivor josie the vege.

hi,

Forced nash to eat at least a few celeries and it was okay. today's their fifth day trying BARF and have no tummyproblems or whatsoever. Even their stools aren't relaly stinky.So's josie's urine!

yeh exactly !! Cos i'm the one who picks up their poos all the time!!! :) even her ultra-acidic smell urine isn't awful anymore!! Will definitely barf them from now on!

btw did i mention that they love to DRINK water from my dad's lotus' pot plant? Caught nash doing it in action!! can't think hw disgusting my dogs can get....all the mud and sand ewww
