Yeh Doggie as in Jerry's pug. I arrived at about 10 n left at 11 plus. I'll b going for the next gathering, I'll approach all the pug owners this time Wink

You guys should start a small group and gather under a tree to identify each other Wink

Heard that the gathering was too crowded and most ppl didn't get a chance to social with others but only to watch out their own furkids. It would be nice if you all could meet up at the same time and take a pic of the gang. Oh yeah~ don't forget, u guys should take it from the rear!!! Laugh

Well~ who's going to show up? Doggie? Rusty-Boy? Yoda junior, Yoda Senior? who else? I'm sure Boofie and Mike will be there la...... Oo...too bad, Murphy still MIA Frown

too bad i din get to meet u guys the other day. i'll also try to approach (at least) all the pug owners. how come u're not bringing yoda? when is his jab? hope to see him there though. cos i miss rusty when he was just a puppy.

hi mack,

yeah the gathering was crowded. i was also bz looking after rusty cos whenever i put him off the leash, he'll wander away from the crowd to all the big trees to "mark". aikksssss. it happened whenever i put him off leash. have to drag him back to where the crowd is Unsure

.

anyway, i think rusty is still quite shy and not use to so many doggie frens at the same time. so, have to give him some space to get use to it. hope that he'll be more friendly / sociable in the next gathering.

we'll definely try to take a group photo next time. i missed it on the last gathering. and sure will take a pic of the rear.

yoda's last jab is due end of this month. that's the only reason why he wasn't there last sunday. really anxious to bring him out jln jln.

i bought her from the pet shop that everyone was mentioned about( the one at petaling street)... i just wonder my dog is pure breed... even i have got her birth cert. because the colour is fawn + black... is there any pug with this color???

Hi~

welcome to join the pug pound. Please~ take extra caution on your new pup since it's from the "mou-leong" pet shop. Don't get me wrong here, i'm not cursing or what-so-ever..... just hope you could get rid of what have other owner have badly experienced before, for purchising pup from that shop.

Anyway, better bring him to a vet for check up and follow up.

thanks ..... i will take good care of her.

i took her to vet for checking already... she is alright..

she was with me for 8 months liao... she is my first dog, so a lot have to learn.. Crazy

i want to join the 5th July gathering .... can anyone tell me what time it start?? that day is not my off day.....

Hey Gang,

I more definite in going to the Dogathon on 6 Jul & will be bringing my Baby. Anybody else going? We should be 3, my Mom, myself & Baby (6mths). Me no have puppy.com t-shirt so ah if you see me with my pug, just approach & chit chat.

As for the gathering on 5 Jul, alreadi got previous appt lah so still very tentative.

Would love to see 1 blackie pug, hehehehe.

dear dog-dog,

It doesn't really matter if ur dog is purebred or not, it's the common love both of u share, of coz if it was stated that it's purebred but turns out otherwise u will feel cheated. nevertheless, it's the company and luv for and from ur furkid that really matters most Smile

regarding the certification by MKA, I'm in no position to make any comments, mayb the other members could give some pointers here.

sorry to hear that you don't think ur puggie is purebreed but it's too late now, you alreadi LOVE it! Tongue

so just enjoy the companionship tht your doggie wl bring.

I think the gathering at KK finishes at about 1pm so not sure if you go in the afternoon, there'll be ppl still thre. Actually, I haven't been to one yet, hehehe.

Btw, do u have a pic of your doggie. We can all have a look at it.

she is fat leh... vet want me to control her diet.. any way to put down her weight?? i only feed her twice a day... further... she is not greedy.. but still grow fat.. dun know why...

yoda won't be going for the coming gathering/dogathon. last vaccination due in a few days. the last i checked with the vet, she advised not to bring yoda out for at least 2 weeks after the 3rd vaccination Crazy

This time i'll definitely approach all pug owners and intro muhself, however i find it hard to link "member name | furkid name | member real name" so, pls forgive me when i recall the member name n not the rest, it will definitely b much better after meetign the real person n furkid, that i assure u Wink

Nice pic. Yah she's a bit 'fei poh' but no wolly, my elder puggie, Pinky, also like that. You can see a pic of her in my earlier post here Tongue

Btw what made you say tht you don't think your grl is purebreed pug? From her pic, imho, she looks like one. As for coloring, colours between black, fawn & silver, are acceptable. This is cos of breeding between them. My Pinky is called dirty fawn & my Baby, at the moment, is fawn but she may get more black coming in later. I'm not a full authority on pug standards but it's good to exchange information. What say the others, Arch, Kwai Chai?
