Yeah ..Will look out for cheaper treats..THe shops around my area..ALl treat are above RM10.

Wah..A new shop around CM area? Didnt know that..U know another shop nearby the famous Petalin street Shop? That place sells birds as well..SO dirty lar the place..

You got go to the new petstore in Taman Megah??? Good lah... When there yesterday, the people know how to advice pet owners and the pets all very clean lah.... damne good and got so many many treats!!!! So many kinds... you should go....

Yes, petailng street very dirty wan... that's why I never buy any pets other than mice from them, even the hamsters are sick looking ah.....

Hi,

I'm back again...just being ke poh here....I know the other 2 pet shops down the road at Petaling Street, one already closed down, another one just opposite the McD at Uda Ocean (not Central Market) is belongs to the same owner of the previous 'dirty' pet shop....so the pets there are also not so healthy (although it's renovated nicely with air-cond)....I know this because I work around the area, so if you want to buy things from there, like food, toys, treats ok lar, but not livestock....

It's good if we can organise a meeting with our dogs, but my pup has to get her full vaccin. first oh....Sly

Hi,

How are you, still remember me ? What pets do you keep other than dogs? My father asked me to bring him to the new pet store at Tmn Megah too, but I don't know the way as I'm not familiar with PJ. BTW, do you happen to see whether they sell 'clicker' for training purposes?

Oh really? I thought the new orange petshop... what... petsmore.come I think.... is new.... I went there lah, puppies ok but then ah, some a bit sleepy and some the price is just bonkers wan.... I like what they sell there, many stuff..... but I never buy coz too expensive, just go there to see see only......

Hello Hello Wendy.....so, you want to go to Taman Megah.....It is near Kelan Jaya, if you ask people around that area where is Fatty Crab restaurant then you will find that petshop... really big and I was amazed at the way the staff, they were very helpful.... but the puppies were too expensive lah..... but many kinds of toys.... clicker? I'm not sure about that..... why don't use a child's toy clicker? Sounds the same hehehehe......I use to have a few but dunno where it went... somewhere in my house I thinkCrazy

hey wendy,

i always go to the orange sign i guess in front of McD lah, where the blind people always singing.

normally go there buy treats and my Canidae lor. the pups there are ok but some very skinny. that day i bought my puppy there just to see other dogs, wah lau the rest of the dogs went nuts! barking like mad cause jealous see Roxy..hehe so bad hah. livestock? so funny, when u say makes me think of roosters, chicken, duck and goats..how u know same owner ah?

ya lah should get together hor..well this weekend Roxy is going for her 3rd final shot in taman midah...after that she can go more places.

why u need clicker ah? so hi tech!!Smile i think cheaper option u find children toy, can make same sound. how is daisy doing?

also to beyond, i hope ben's skin is now better.

Hi Guys..(oops and gals) Sly WEll..I didnt comb Ben's fur for two days..So..The flakes arent coming off..But I think he developed some kind of itch here and there..Probably due to playing on the grass..Dont allow ur pups to lie and play on the grass too long..Ben will get pustules growing on the underbelly. The boils or 'lap lap' contain yellow pus..Therefore..Pls be careful. Most of the time..The pustules are harmless and will burst off and dry off on their own..But I prefer to apply some antiBiotic cream on it..Helps..

Ben has been naughty lately..Doesnt want to go into the crate after playing and meals..And if I carry him in...He will try and nip my fingers...(nak kena belasah ni Mad)..OR if I try to push him into the crate..He will immediately turn his head and try to come out again..OR..He will just place two paws in the crate and the other two outside..ANd he will like 'chat ma poh'..So diff to push him in..In the end..Have to scold him..And then he will give me the sad face look..

I have been feeding him the following meals recipe daily..:

1. Half cup Eukanoba

2. One Half boil egg

3. Two tabs of VIt C

4. Two tabs of Vit B Complex

5. 3 ml of NutriCoat

6. Minced Guava fruit or Apple or Lei

7. 2 Scoops of Pedigree Beef meat

ANd the final conclusion is..He gained weight and his fur looked shiny and golden now..

yes yes yes...problem is I don't know how to go to Kelana Jaya...never mind, I will find out from my colleague if I plan to go....actually I haven't really seen a clicker before, so don't know how its sound like....just that the dog training book that I have use the clicker method....you asked to use children's toy, do you mean the 'squeeze' toy or toy that makes clicking sound...I can't think of any toys that make clicking soundCrazy...can u pls elaborate more?

Yes, that's the one...I know because sometimes the shop owner will go to the new shop when the old shop is closed (the old shop closes earlier) and the staff there told me when I asked last time. Kelsey, did you ask them to deliver Canidae to your house, they have this service....I know one person who also distributes Canidae, I got my first bag from him together with other basic stuff like bowl, bottle, vit, etc., so I don't know which is cheaper...will find out later when I need to buy again.

Daisy is doing fine, she is very happy everytime she sees me...wags her tail more than others (non-stop) and licks me so much...so I know she loves me...coz I only see her once a day and actual time spent with her is only about 30 mins (she is in my mother's house now)....yesterday I trained her to heel, it was quite successful, she followed me as I walked...coz of the treats mah....after that she was so exhausted and when I left she already fell asleep....so funny....but I'm going to move to my new house next week, so she will be staying with me liao....Sly

Sure Roxy will be so happy when she can go to more places....I also hope that Daisy can go 'gai gai', but have to wait lor...too risky to go out!!!

Actually I don't know anyone, except for one friend here who is using this method, I think you read the post also, right? I asked because my dog training book uses the clicker method too, so I'm sort of looking for one or its replacement (children's toy??)...but so far I'm using treats.Wink

About the vaccins, my vet told me it's ok to be a little early but not good to be late....so I think you should bring him as soon as you can since it's overdue....next time if you don't have time to go on the same day, better to go earlier instead of later....In my case, I'll bring Daisy on 5/11 (it's due on 7/11) because I'm shifting house this weekend...Smile

I bought frontline to prevent ticks/fleas but haven't use it, coz I have not let Daisy to play in the garden yet, but planning to use it soon....do you use any of these preventive products?

Yeah, last time my vet told me there is cream to help the 'lap lap' caused by pee pee also...but I didn't buy...but I think you should also watch out for bugs in the grass too...use frontline for example and can also brush his fur after playing in the garden (to brush out the dirt).

Sometimes dogs tend to be naughtier when we are playing with them, like children mah...when they know you love them, sure they become more manja lor....but you still have to insist when it's time to go into the crate lor...

Wah...another interesting receipe....I only give Canidae & one vit (don't remember the name), will try other food when Daisy and I are staying together....

Aiyoh..Today I decided to train Ben to use the Collar and the leash..COllar was successful this time..BUt he doenst liket he leash..So he was like jumping up and down and tried to shake the leash off...THen he bumped his head on the floor..(marble)..ANd now a bit swollen on top of the head. He was so scared after the bump and was whining away..After I sayang him, he was ok...BUt still got bump ler..

ANyway..I couldnt really get him to follow me or come to me on the leash..HE will just lie down there on the floor and no matter how I tug the leash..HE will not come..UNless ..I tug really hard which I dun like to do...Frown
