Re: [lesl] Pure breed Puppy in SPCA Malacca [In reply to] Can't Post

why do u wan a purebreed??? is there any specific breed that you want/ interested in???

if you're lucky maybe you'll find one, but not everyone are as lucky since ppl have to pay to get a purebreed and i don't think they throw it away unless its sick or run offUnsure. but 1 thing i'm sure is ppl always throw away mixed & mongrels Mad

lots of ppl think that purebreed is high class dog/ prettier, but it won't be if you don't take care of it. mixed & mongrels can too be beautiful if its being well care of. plus, if you manage to get a pure one free, you still have to pay to take care of it, medic, groom, food, on and on

everything have a price, either its higher or lower.

if u can afford it, then i'll advise you to get one from pet shop/ breeder, coz you donno how long you'll hav to waitCrazy

there are some breed that aren't so expensive, like shih tzu

good luck

Re: [silvrash] Pure breed Puppy in SPCA Malacca [In reply to] Can't Post

haha yeah i was thinking of adopting a pure bred as my 1st puppy too, also SPCA malacca... so i know how do you feel, maybe you dont want to waste so much money to buy a pup and it dies because of your careless or etc...
but you know, mix bred & mongrels are pretttty too!
few days back i even paid few hundreds to buy a mixed bred because it worth(see my avatar). and they need a good home like other dogs too! why not? every dog is a good dog, it depends on you.
I have a Papillon and an Australian Silky Terrier. One sheds and the other one needs grooming quite a lot

Re: [joanch] Pure breed Puppy in SPCA Malacca [In reply to] Can't Post

yup, personally, i think its better to not have a purebreed as your first kid especially when you do not know hot to handle/take care or dogs.
coz purebreed dogs often seem to be more delicate especially on heath.
i not saying to get the non-purebreed as experimentTongue but they be easier to care of and you'll gain experience.
yup mixed breed are beautiful, i wanted to get one last month but.... the owner(pet shop) really get on my nerve, so didn't buy
but last week my aunt gave me a spanielLaugh yeah!!~~
but he got many problem.... ears, coat, and last sunday he scared the #%&# out of me, after bath he went drying then suddenly lay there didn't move, hold him up, he couldn't standPirateCrazy
luckily okay liawFrownSmile

a spaniel??
wow, a dog or a puppy?
yeah they do have long curly coat!
maybe she was too cold or what so she could not stand? god bless she was ok;-)
there was a woman wanted to give away her spaniel too, last month, but as i said, i have thought a lot and i think mix breed is more suitable for me as a 'beginner':-D

i think if i bath bonnie with cold water... wow, she will faint on the spot:-D
anyway because she is only a puppy so i use warm water so that she wont be afraid of shower next time.
