Malaysia K9 Day is yet another
Puppycom event to be held in Klang Valley at Central Park, Bandar
Utama, Kuala Lumpur. The events is sponsored by Purina PetCare
(M) Sdn Bhd. The event is open to public that are either existing
dog owners and lovers as well as future dog owners.
The
main aim of the Puppycom K9 Day is to declare 2nd Sunday of every
year as Malaysia K9 Day, a day dedicated to all the Dogs. The K9 Day
was opened by Y.B. Datuk Ong Tee Keat, The Deputy Minister of Youth
& Sports, Malaysia on Jan 11, 2004. 
The
K9 Day was stuffed with a lot of doggie activities and the
admission is FREE for all. There is also no fee involve for all
games and beauty pageant that we have designed to allow the owners to
participate with their dog. All in all, the K9 Day will be a fun day
for both human and dog. While
we work all events and activities to make it interesting for dog
owners and their dogs, we are also doing our part to promote
Responsible Dog Ownership among Malaysian society. This is the area
which we think can be improved. PAWS and SPCA will also be there.
Dog and animal lovers can do their part too by contribute generously
to these organizations. The
summary of the activities of the K9 Day are as follow :-
