Hi All! My husband and I got our puppy from the Animal Shelter on Saint Valentine's Day......so we named him Saint!
We brought him to the Vet right away for his shots and neutering. He had kennel cough. We were given antibiotics for him and it cleared up most of it. Saturday he went from having one poop accident the day he got home and one the morning no one took him out right away.. to pooping all over the place. That's a hassle, but what scares us is there is BLOOD in the stools.
I called the Vet tonight, because there is A LOT now and was told to give him Kaeopectate and White Chicken & Rice. I was reading some pretty scary stuff on this site about the Parvo Virus. Our Vet said if he seems better in the morning, not to worry. If he is not to bring him right in.
This is our first dog and we just love him. Anyone know what else causes the vomiting, diarrhea and bloody stool?
