same here.. hugo's my first dog too... i guess patience is the best word !!
then u might wanna consider getting a good training book ... or just go for trainning classes loh ... but in my opinion.. i think sending riley for trainning would be better than learning from a book loh .. cause the instructor corrects u if u make mistake.. while the book doesnt and wont even know if u made any mistakes..
alrite.. i gotta bring my dog for his daily practises

Oh, Riley boy hehehehe..... 5 months, now that's when he will be biting your hand off rite? My labrador was the same, kept biting us and to stop her biting, we actually scream and cry when she bites us to scare her off, it actually worked on her.....

Alrighty, already signed Riley up for the training. Will be commencing in December.. I'm actually feeling more nervous than he is. So worried he can't catch up or should I say I CAN't catch up with the instructor. Anyway, on leave today so brought him for a brisk walk. Luckily not many people around, not too sure whether dogs are allowed in tat park. Anyone knows any park in the Cheras or Ampang area that's ok with doggies?
Err.. I actually signed up with puppy.com loh. I asked MKA before and they told me that I need to be a member before signing up and even if I have become a member, I'd be put on a waiting list.. a very long waiting list. What about you? Where did you sign up? MKA?

Hi, so great to hear you that you got your golden, i'm GR fan too, but currently just look around, didnt keep 1 bcos my place 2 small for them, mayb wait my new house really, i'll get a GR for myself.

Hi! Yeah, I was like you.. didn't get a GR until we moved to a house with a bigger yard for him to roam about. Still surveying where to get one? All the best, yeah?

I actually thought of getting a schnauzer before I had Riley. They have this very distinctive look, don't you think? The 'moustache' they have makes them look so wise in a way..

oh.. i signed up with MKA loh.. i called them n see if they still have any availability for basic classes.. they said they have but only limited spaces.. so eagerly i went up to their office the next day and signed up to be a member and to join the class ... they allowed and they didnt tell me anything about ... long long waiting list ??
sigh.. nvm la.. i think puppycom's wan is good also ..
anyway.. i can't quite remember.. where are u from ?! sorry

May be can consider to get another one. MS very adorable, they usually don't bark much (my one la), easy to take care. Can consider but not so soon la or else u'll have to be full time taking care of ur furkids

Oh yes, definitely won't be getting another dog for the time being. Riley's devilish behavior's enough to drive me up the wall. Oh god, I seriously don't know how to deal with him. He's so darn hyper and bites a lot! And it hurts. Can't wait for the obedience class to start. Does your MS bite?

oh, I'm from Klang.. Hugo just turned 1 on monday n i made him Carrot + Peanuts Cake.. haha he was a bit curious at first.. but i think in the end he finished 1/2 of the cake ...

Aiyo, so pity u la. Get him toy for him to chew, each time he chew the toy u say 'good boy', when he try to bite u again avoid looking at his eye, walk away from him. Me not so good in this but more oe less, know a bit la.
