Newbie from Melbourne Can't Post

HI all,

I am a newbie on this forum. I use to live in M'sia but now permanently in Melbourne, Australia.

I have a 2 1/2 year old male pure bred pedigree Alaskan Malamute named Sebastian which I am crazy about Angelic. I spend a lot of time with him. He is my favourite teddy bear!

I live in Ivanhoe.

I wouldn't bring Alaskan Malamutes to Msia. Huskies might be ok because their coats are not as densed. During summer in Melb - can get pretty hot, he gets very lethargic and spends most of the time in front of the air conditioner. Mals also suffer from hot spots that can also be caused by the weather.

Re: [vijitha] Newbie from Melbourne [In reply to] Can't Post

thx for ur advise, i also think better dun't bring alaska back. ur sebastian really know how to chill himself by sitting front of the air con. really envy u have a adorable n intelligent alaska. i have been to the breeders n all the alaska are so huge yet cute. there was a 3 yrs old alaska n she is almost as tall as me when she stand.

as for husky, their are hyper active n i dun't think i can keep up with it as well as they need lots of attention. oh well.... i think i have to get other breeds.
