Well, cats and dogs have with them instincts and tend not to get along well. But if you introduce/socialise them when they are young, they will eventually get along. But always supervice when introducing them or else they are bound to fight. Like Happy, she was brought back when 4 months, then a friend gave me Lucky (the cat) and it was 1 year old. Lucky is extremely cautious adn always hissed at Happy. But during the first few days when the second animal comes in, make sure you show great care and love to the first one and always relay messages that you still will love it (as I had did to Happy) Then after about 2 weeks, they eventually get along very well and in fact they stand up for each other too when there is danger. But bare in mind, cats are much harder to train to get along with dogs. When they scratch, the impression will not be good from the dogs point of view. So be careful. Good news is Cats are extremely easy to housebreak than dogs.!!...
