I'm from kl..I have a cocker spaniel..with a bad ear problem..can anyone help me please.. my doggie will only eat when there is someone around..he is not choosy with its food its just that he will not take his food when he is alone..but the main problem is his ears is so smelly i've tried treating it but nothing works yet?Please help..thank you all..

how old is your cocker spaniel now? normally if puppy, their ears tend to b quite smelly...hv to clean it frequently... do u use any ear solutions? if the prob still persist, better go n see vet...

there are no such things as doggies starvin to death, therefore, jz monitor his behaviour. he'l eat even if there is no one around him. leave the hse & short periods of time & gradually increase em.
as for the ears, use ears solutions (drops) if ur cant stop the smell within 2 weeks, get him to a vet to check for infections
don worry if he still doesn wanna eat alone, then staarve him for 1 hour. then give him the food when he reli hungry.. then walk away and monitor.. if he still stubborn, then do again until he wiling to eat alone...

dalat international school = a secondary school for the foreginers la...westerners, koreans, etc
located at tg bungah. u need to park ur car behind the hotel, then walk to the beach. walk to ur furthest left & u'l end up behind the dalat school its quite quiet thr cuz not many ppl go that far...

What you mean by bad ear problem?? Smelly?? I think your cocker got ear mites ler .. coz my cocker got encounter this problem too. Bring your kid to the vet and maybe they will give you sumthin like liquid to squeeze into the ear .. it’ll cure soon dun worry … and cannot clean the ear so often … make it 3 or 4 days once … the vet ajar me one .. hehehehe
As for the food thing ahh … is he under weight ah?? Active ma??
BTW .. since u going to the vet can ask will the dog have diarrhea before cuming first heat?? Coz my cocker spaniel been eating and running normally but her poo is very soft ler … she’s 9 mths old.

hahaaah..i know dat dalat is the int'l school...but don know the exact location....park behind which hotel ah?
u turn right immediately at the traffic lights after hotel...go until the end then turn right again, u'l end up in a dead end road. thr can park anywhr, sometimes indians or malays ask for parkin fees. walk along the hotel's pool towards the beach. reachin the beach, go to ur utmost right. u'l find urself gettin more & more secluded & away fr all the crowd. find urself a good private spot with less ppl around, off leash ur girls & have a splashin time

huh??? flames??? i dunno whrs flames la... upon drivin towards bt ferringhi, u'l find a smaller caltex on ur left. the turning to the left will lead u to medan selera (u remember??? last time we got go thr buy stuff at the 7-11???) DO NOT turn thr. go straight u'l pass 2 traffic lights at a near distance. upon passsin the 2nd traffic lights, u can see the hotel on ur right. u can turn right at the next traffic lights
hmmm ya u call me if u cant find la, normally im thr around 530~gonna be dark, usually abt730pm like that... but this weekend i cant make it, got weddin function to attend, maybe next time i'l join u girls ok
oh...u usually go in the evening? well..tomoro am going early in the morning...hopefully less crowd at dat time...planning to send her for grooming after dat....hehehehe

hehehee.....went this morning....good weather...nice place...but cant offleash sasha sasha thought the whole place is hers...when i offleash her, she ran so far away....i got the shock of my life n didn't really manage to catch her..she really thought that the whole beach is hers...i'm so scared that someone will just nap her...then she saw one stray dog n she stopped n bark at him....the dog growl at her...dats when i manage to grab her n cabut....haiyo...don think i'l ever offleash her again...
really admire u ppl dat can offleash n ur dogs will b lookign at u instead of u looking at ur dog.....sigh....

aiyo 1st time only ma, u'l need to bring her thr more often to off leash her, pretty soon she' lget the idea of stayin close to u, instead of runnin gto her chasing her, let her chase u, this way u can control her better

i am hoping that perhaps when she gets older, she won really run too far away d....
coz normally i bring her to enclosed basketball court...n she will run till out of breath...so far, din really see that she needs to stay close to me...coz all the time, i'm the one that need to make sure i am close to her

hahaha that's funny. Well i donnu how greedy are ur dogs but with my rascal, just carry Beggin' Strips.......sure he wont run far away from you. Will stay very very close to you just in case you might wanna give him a treat!
here, i'm not scared that he wont come back to me, more afraid that he might get bang down by a car or motor lah.....thats why i neve let him go off leash.......havent found a gated area yet.

same here...actually i know that she will eventually come back to me after she is worn out...but juz dat i am afraid that she will be in danger if too far away from me....like u said, bang by motor, car etc, confronted by stray dogs or even dognapped by ppl...
actually my girls oso very greedy...however so far i nvr tried carry the treats when bring them outside...perhaps i shud try to show them the treats so dat they will stay close to me
but sasha juz loves to run very much...she enjoys being chased too...so normally sze ern will b the one chasing after her n she will run as fast as she could...however, kinda hard to find a safe gated area here...n most place i found don allow dogs

treats & toys wont work for zeus when he's outside. ..only the whistle can...
im sayin u should bring her thr more often & off leash her everytime, make her chase u instead of u chasin her. the the game a cue, everytime u say the cue u run expectin her to chase u. this way, she'l come runnin at u instead of u runnin to her. when she sees u runnin to her, she'l wanna run further away fr u cuz she thinks ur playin & thats dangerous
