Sorry, didn't see your second post!
I got mine for RM1700. The breeder must show you the original certificate by MKA of both the sire and dam (in my case, a SV cert.for the sire which is from Germany). If the cert. shows that there is a tattoo no. then you can see that no. on the dog's ear. Otherwise, if microchip is used, then you need to trust that the breeder is telling the truth.
The pup is too small to obtain its own cert. normally after 5 months, it will get its own and from there you can check whether the parents' names correspond with the sire and dam's cert. shown to you earlier.
If you want to have first choice, then be prepared to pay more. Good luck!
