I'm new owner to a 3months old shihtzu name Sushi. I think this forum is really GREAT and i did learn a whole load about puppies from here! Just wondering if there's any members here with Shihtzus here in Penang? Also is there any place in Penang with training classes for dogs?

Hey Sushi and Aileen,
Welcome to the forum. Hope you'll enjoy it here. well i dont really noe ani shih tzu around Penang. I have a 7 months++ Silky terrier. Well if you have time you can train ur puppy at home. But the best ting is put the dog in trainning.

Ask Mr. Khoo to have CNY party so u can set up a tabung... hahaha ... wahhh all furkid parents will be in trouble lar... including urself & me... dunno if what we collect is enuff to give other furkids or not... puppy.com so many members with so many furkids... kakaka

hey hey that is a great idea.. i shall propose it to mr.khoo, but there is an exception to the tabung.. anyone that is not working, should not donate to the tabung... while those working people have to donated minimum amount of rm10 to the tabung every month...

Wah so shiok la.... we can have a party with all our furbabies!! I noticed that all of you in this thread (stan, ladee & ming) are from KL area....does this means party will be in KL? Hhmm....i wonder if my sushi can travel so far, new adventure for her!

most of the member in this forum are KL people... So if you wanna have a party/gatheing, it is a bit hard due to location factor... sometimes i do come to Penang, so it should not be a problem for me hehehe.....

im penang lang oso but now im staying at sunway for studies. i dont own shih tzu, but got lots of mongrels coming in & out of my sunway house.. hehe.. but then my dad do have some for breeding purpose. im sure penang got training classes, if u need detail, call this guy: 016-4806633 say Chen Yang give u the number.

I've a shih tzu here. But I'm not from Penang, sorre! I'm from PJ, selangor. Fyi, he's my second shih tzu. He's gonna be 8 tis yr. His name is Tutu, short for tush. He's obedient & very quiet doggie. Hardly hear a peep from him.
To me, shih tzu have a look of a teddy bear. But sometimes when I watch Star wars, I can't help thinking Ewoks are based on shih tzu's looks! Do u agree with me,leh?
I totally agree with you that shihtzus look like Ewoks from starwars!! My bro n dad also did mentioned it! Her name is Sushi, and when she rolls over, she looks like Gremlins too! hahaha! My doggie is also very quiet...hhmm....are shihtzus quiet in nature?? She is also quiet during car rides...maybe she is afraid? ~AILEEN~

snowy is very attached to me, everyone i go, she follows although i have put her food on the floor for her to eat.... she would rather skip her food just to follow me... well, snowy is quite picky also... currently, i am feeding her eukanuba and changing to nutro lamb and rice.. if only eukanuba, she will finish all.. if i mix eukanuba and nutro together, she will go for nutro and leave eukanuba behind...
sometimes, i gotta lock her up in cage, so that she finish her food....

Hiya Stan,
My sushi has a very funny character . She will get excited when i take out her food bowl, but when she smell the food.... I'm feeding her sciencediet now, which many ppl recommended! Maybe i should switch to Eukonuba for her to try. She will also skip her food, she'll only eat when there's ppl around her! I think she rather starve! My vet says she is very underweight n skinny, so now i try to force her to eat!
Also she like to sit near me and my family, but she doesn't like to be cuddled. So when i hug her to pat her she'll move away! Is snowy like dat?
I think shihtzus have very arrogant n proud character! What do you think? ~AILEEN~

i think shih tzu is a very attached doggy..... they refuse to eat if they are not accompanied by anyone... snowy is ok if you hug her and pat her.... and she likes being tickled also...

hmmm... i wanna take but a bit sayang, as she got long fur..... later dirty fast... but every evening, i bring my beagle for a walk/run in the neighbourhood....
