Thanks for the advice. I'm currently at outstation, and my parents are the one who found the dog and are keeping it at the moment. I'll ask my parents to do it, if not then i'll bring it to the vet when i go home on Friday. I'll also go around nearby pet shops and vets to check if anyone has reported a missing poodle.
The problem with missing dogs is that with the current economic downturn, sometimes these poor souls are frequently being abandoned by their irresponsible owners because of economic constraint. I really hope that the owner of this poodle will come forward to bring it home soon.
Hi.. I'm just offering myself if you can't find the owner,i'm willing to take care of it. But of course i hope the dog will return to it's rightful owner. All the best with the search.

Hi, my poodle was lost at my mother-in-law's house in SS3. She is female. Apricot color with a very obvious over-bite. She's been microchipped as well. She got lost since 8th May and been spotted around after posters are stuck around. However as soon as we were informed, she went missing from the location again. Please let me know if the dog fits my description. I am crossing my fingers.

Hi,
I'm sorry for not informing everyone here that the poodle has gone home to its rightful owner. he happens to live few rows behind my house. do not give up in your search for your poodle. flood your neighbourhood with flyers, local vets and pet stores, as I have found back my shih tzu with this method as well. Good Luck!

Can you email me the tips and how long does it take for you to located back your beloved Shih Tzu.
I have lost my Shih Tzu 2 months ago. I have send the flyers to my neighborhood but still no use. All the post bill have been spoil by mother nature because it 2 months.
I hope you give some good tips and share your experience with me.

Hi Eddie,
I'm sorry to hear about your lost. But Don't give up ! I dont have any special tips/secrets but I'm more than willing to help you locate your shihtzu. what i did was i printed a very clear pic, with minimal but huge wordings to attract ppl's attention. for e.g.:
LOST (pic) golden-white shihtzu w blue collar, male PLS CALL: 012-2223333 Reward awaits
offer a reward. if u must, laminate it or just buy clear plastic bags to protect your flyers from getting damage by mother nature. I put up posters on trees around my neighbourhood, even at 7-eleven on their community notice board, of course not forgetting your local vet and pet stores. widen your horizon, bring extra copies in your car and just paste wherever u go even at faraway places that you don't think your dog would be but who knows? your dog could have been taken away in a car to somewhere far. how bout pasting 2 posters at your car window's backseat? also, do pray for the best.
