No need to worry about food. If you are driving the nearest town from resort is just less then 5 minutes drive away & one piece of roti canai is only about 70sen to 1.10 sen...... Dinner time can go for seafood at 9th miles ... when we are there don worry on makan I shall be your guide ( I used to stay in PD for 5 years )
Since its on 23/8 ... if anyone got transport problem can e - mail me at but then ur dog must be friendly lah cos all the way to PD then ur dog be sitting with my Pek mix ... ha ha A Dog Never Lies About Love

do u know whc mile the Resort is at?
Yah, wud be good to hve a guide to take us place for good makan. There's this place also, think at 1st mile, off the main rd? Another seafd place opp the power stn at 1st mile also, near the sea?
It wud be a good idea to car convoy (at least for me, if I'm going). Settle on a place to meet-up thn convoy (perhaps the place jst after the sg. besi toll, wud be good?).
btw, did I miss the website addy. read thru all the posts but think I may hve missed it. cud someone provide me wth the website, tks.

Here's some additional information on how to get there:
By road from Kuala Lumpur- Seremban North-South highway, take the second Seremban toll and head for the Port Dickson toll and exit. Take the Seremban-Port Dickson highway and travel pass the toll. At the T-junction, turn left and travel along the coastal road for another 15 km.
Journey time is 1.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur,2.5 hours from Singapore;1 hour from Melaka and ½ hour from KLIA. - (Copied from the website)
Duta Hacienda Riveria Resort is part of Palm Springs Resort City, The Palm Springs Resort City comprises of Duta Hacienda Riveria Resort, Duta Villas Golf Resort and Royal Palm Springs Golf Club. The adjoining overhead bridge across the marina connects the two resorts.

Some good news for you. Spoken to Tanco Resort , the owner of the resort today and they will be allowing more dogs but with some surchange (minimal I guess) as the deterent.

Many questions has been asked by several ppl on some issues about the resort and we will have Kathleen Tay who works at Tanco Resort to help us to answer these questions. For your info, Tanco Resort Berhad is the owner of that resort that is offering doggie stay to puppycom members.

More informations....
1. Standard Room - RM 180nett per nite - 2 adults + 1 Large Breed Dog or 2 adults + 1 Medium Breed Dog or 2 adults + 2 small breed dogs
Good News is -
a)For Small breed can have up to 3 dogs but 2nd and 3rd dog chargeable at RM 30nett per dog(2nd and 3rd dogs must be small breed) [ edited by Khoobg - First 2 dogs for small breed suppose to be free ]
b) For medium breed can have up to 3 dogs but 2nd & 3rd dog chargeable at RM 30nett per dog (2nd & 3rd dog only small or medium breed)
c) For large breed can have up to 3 dogs chargeable at RM 30nett per dog(2nd& 3rd dog must be small breed only or 2 large breed and 1 small breed)
This restriction is set because the resort management really wants to ensure the comfortabilty of their guests(which is puppy.com members) and also MOST IMPORTANTLY our FURKIDS ... you would'nt want to stuff all our furkids in one little room right ? After all, they are the main STAR of the day .....
2. Strictly not for any dogs under FIGHTING DOGS BREED category.... we would'nt want our FURKIDS to get enemies on a vacation right ?
For category of Dogs Breed , kindly refer to BREEDS CATEGORY....
Also , if anyone of you would like to rent a crate , please let us know... currently doing a survey on how many needed....
