I am just telling you the reason why we the games committee do not participate in our own games. In the past, we have comment from other participant that once the games committee join our own games, and if he/she win then the result is "fixed". As for event organise by other group, is very unfortunate that I have not personally attended any of the event, I just saw the aftermath.. ie the result and saw most of the winner are from the organising team. That is only my observation. BTW, I never doubt your dog or other dog ability. bomberZ bomberZ, you are quite a brave fellow making such sweeping statements without having attended any of the pnu events. And despite not attending any events, you still managed to ‘see the aftermath ie. results and most of the winners are from the organising team’ Let’s examine the ‘aftermath’ then for d 1st n 2nd Agility/ OB trials events: K9 games - In the above events, total of 11 games were held offering 33 prizes. 31 prizes were won by outsiders and 2 were won by committee members. OB trials - From total of 11 prizes given out during d 2 trials, none went to d committee members. The winners were all MKA or puppycom members. Agility trials - From total of 43 entries in d 2 trials, 19 are committee members, 14 are trainees n 10 are from other schools. From the 23 prizes given out, 13 went to committee members, 6 to trainees and 4 to other schools. Hence, the committee making up 44% of total entries, won 56% of the prizes which seems like a fair return but far from a dominating performance. Well the ‘aftermath’ doesn’t appear to be so intimidating after all and your sweeping statements are pure conjecture. Best to examine the facts before making such statements, otherwise you may end up looking even more foolish then ever. Better still, do attend these events and take part as the club genuinely wishes to encourage dog sports in the country. Don’t just stay away from these events and presume to know the ‘aftermath’. (Details of results are available from website). __________________________________________________
