Nope i didn't invite the Star. and yes, I'm in the PR industry and I have some journalism background as well. Actually the journalists usually don't go through the whole press kit. The press release shoud be good enough for them to even do a 'copy & paste'. The addtional information that's included can be anything you want to disclose about the forum so that they can pick out stuff (if they have time to read through) and add more juicy bits to their story about the event itself.
But we should try to keep it simple cause I think they don't have time to browse through everything. Just my opinion.

I know what you mean that they don't have time to go throu everything, they don't normally have the time.
However, I was working under an ex Star journalist (who was with the star for more than 5 years) and she told me that it would be helpful for the journalist to have the pointers and a quick answer to some of the questions they would like to know (especially jargons) so that they don't have to take the trouble of calling up the source to ask again for news. Anyway, that was for biotechnology I was working in.
And when the artitlce regarding the event was published in the newspaper, the paper did quote quite a number of facts that we included in the press kit. Just thought it may be helpful for the journalists later if they want to contact and to have an idea of what future events we may have. ANyway, that's just my two cents worth.
It will be up to Mr Khoo to determine what he wants in the press kit. After all, he initiated the website and we're just assisting him.
Perhaps you could help with the press release since you have more experience in PR. I am very occupied with my lectures lately but I could help with the translation if need to be translated into Mandarin. With warm regards, CY Phang

actually you can get the car sick pill from the vet. they need to take half of it before the journey started (at least 1/2 hour). and for sure they'll really sleep like baby. You may get further information from the vet. My housemate got a silky also & vomit all the time. She did try and it really works.

Hi,
Wah! So lucky! How come no one ever gave me a silky before I recently adopted a cute mixed puppy for my mom. It happened just outside the SPCA. This guy was delivering a box of puppies and my mom, ever the kay-po struck up a conversation with his mom while I parked the car. By the time I got out we already had another addition to the family - a cute little white and lemon fuzz ball So how many silkies will there be - four if I'm not mistaken. Somebody made a plaintive plea for silky ppl earlier on - so here we are...hehehe!

Hi All,
Myself and Jeffrey has started learning how to bake muffin so we could bring some along. We didn't know how to bake and we try out with chocolate cake. It was quite alright. I hope the muffin will turn out fine.
