there r many straydogs at the playground near my apartment that r very fierce, they always bark n even chase people, n i experienced it before, they chase me n my friends while playing basketball... what should i do? i dun wanna call spca coz i know they will put them to sleep, pity them lar, dog like that sure no one adopt one... honestly, they r really ugly... there r, if im not mistaken, 7 of them... there's a lot of children who often play at the playground, so im afraid that the dogs will bite them... what should i do?

Actually, I've never hated these kind of dogs though I've been chased by them before.. Until one day...
My opposite house neighbours started to adopt these kind of stray dogs to be their pet.. and there was like a lot of those dogs, more than 5. They barked nonstop even at late night.. and we as neighbours still tolerate.. til the dogs go insane.. started to chase students who walk back after tuition, children that cycle around the neighbourhood, motorcyclist carrying gas tank behind them and the motorist overturn, and chasing the indonesian maids... We still tolerate, and tell them nicely to keep their dog in their house, don't let them run wild.
Still, it keeps on repeating. The stray dog chased my next door neighbour, and poor aunty has got nothing to protect herself but an umbrella. Before she can do anything, my stupid opposite house neighbour came out and shouted at the poor aunty. scolding her.. asking her to leave his doggie alone! can you imagine?
There was an incident when I get down from my car wanting to open the door and park my car inside and his dog just rushed out barking and look as if wanna bite and 'grrrr' ... I know it is useless to argue as he won't care anyway.. Til 1 day, my mum was outside the house wanting to put the rubbish bag into the bin when his dog rushed out and barked loudly and looking so fierce. My mum got shocked and shouted so loud. I ran outside right to my mum and the shooed the dog away.. But my mum already fainted.. I was so pissed... We made a police report in the end. We couldn't tolerate any longer. In the end, he got no choice but to put the dog to sleep. I was really glad I took leave that day, else my mum will be alone at home during such hour. And what would happened if she was alone? What if she fainted and the dog bite her? Will anyone know what happened?
It is not that we are trying to be cruel, but.. would you rather kill a mad dog.. or to kill innocent human being? As someone who has dog since small, I can't deny how much I hated my neighbour's dog... that particular dog....

Well, stray dogs normally don't chase humans... they actually shy away. These strays that have chased you and your friends were actually sort of abused by humans so they are not afraid to attack. For me, picking a puppy from a stray mother is sometimes safe coz the mother dog won't attack, just bark... this is 100% timid stray.... If a dog chases you, it has been huirt by human before.... I suspect got some young children or teens that have tortured them by throwing stones and sticks...
What you should do is tell all lil kids to stay away from the dogs. You can't do anything... Don't ever smile with your teeth shown to them coz it makes you look like wanna fight with them. Always walk away slowly, don't run coz running will provoke the prey instinct and they will chase you lah.
SPCA won't come to your calling, they only take in unwanted pets, not strays..... You can call DBKL but they will shoot them lah..... But you will have no choice... and I guess it's the best for them if they are aggressive..... So far, I have not come across a stray that will chase or show aggression to humans till yesterday when I went inside a drain to rescue two 3 month old pups. I best bet is they were beaten and chased till they were so aggressive and afraid all at once... I had no choice but to send them to PAWS coz they were too hard to keep with the 2 other pups I'm foster caring now along with my 4 own dogs.

wow... so u r facing the same situation with me... yeah, like how crazymouse said, maybe they got abused before... buy u know lah, those kids, when they see dogs they wil scream n run away, especially malay, i know what will they say when the see dogs ; '' anjing, lari, anjing !!!'' hahaha !!! funny...
but so far nothing happen, just barking n chasing... if they r puppies, i'll probably catch them n bring them to spca... but they r damn big, its really impossible for me to catch them, no to rehome them !!! im pretty sure no one would adopt them... keeping them is like keeping a hungry tiger !!!
but if they really bite people, i'll only call(not only me i think) dbkl to catch or shoot them...

AHAAAAAAAA... now u reminded me of something.. my neighbour's kids do take stick at hit them wheneve they are free... like this is their pass time activities! Perhas that is how the doggie grew up to become such a fierceeeeeeeeee doggie!

yeah, even if they dosnet get abused before, they will still behave liek that(except people are really friendly with them) coz pup/dog that grow up as stray will usually behave like that, coz they wanna protect themself... coz they dont even know what is love... next time if u see ur neighbour'd kid do that, advice them not to do it.

yeah, i know... these kind of people got a pig's brain... damn stupid. if my neighbour is this kind of people, i'll definitely do something to kenakan them back, without letting them know of course, like i'll catch lots of rats or worms n put it in their house... or putting muds on their cars... or even put banana skin on the front door, hoping that they will step on it n slipped ... hahaha !!!

Yah, that's how they become fierce.... Like the pups I rescue, some are very tame, even when they are strays coz no one has so far abused them... Just last week we rescued some puppies caught in a drain and they were very aggressive, just imagine 3 month old puppies that growls and bares its teeth at you and snap at you when you get near.... And from they physical state, they were abused before coz got some wounds and bite marks from other dogs....
So when we ever do come near these types of dogs, best is not to look directly at their eyes and walk away slowly... running will only make them chase us more.... The Malay kids around my area do not know this and when we hear dogs attacking humans, it's coz the victims either tried to run away, throw a stone at them or try to chase them away....

set ur alarm clock, wake up at 3am, then bring a torch light, some mud,(or more kejam, ur doggie's poo ), some rats, banana skin... first, put some mud on their car, then thge whole place... then release the rats into the house... third, run back to ur house !!! hahahahahahahaha !!!
