im planning on getting another pup but not sure wat breed goes well wif my little furry friend rite now. i have a shih tzu cross terrier. im thinking got getting another shih tzu? is that ok? i kinda like yolkshire terrier too, but heard they r kinda noisy? wat bout mini snauzers? pls advice me.

Terriers and schnauzers are more of watchdogs... they love to bark and if you live in an apartment, eeerr.... have to train lah... shih tzus are normally quiet dogs, they'll only bark if they have to.... So far, I've not heard of very noisy shih tzus.... mine is a bit of a barker but he never barks for fun, he'll only bark when there is a stranger in front of our gate...... If you read some dog books, you'll find that shih tzus are good aprtment dogs and rarely bark alot......

see what breed u love the most la...maybe it is a barker but if u really love it then u also will get it one la.
i own a silky terrier. actually he is a quiet dog. he only bark at stranger lo.normally no stranger come to my home...so he also seldom bark lo. one day maybe bark for 1-2 minutes only!! i think maybe my Dear is different.kekeke...
MS...i think of getting MS b4 too...searching 4 MS around...and heard from a sifu dat MS will become vry rough when they are adult. after getting the advise i got a silky terrier. but only this reason la,the main reason is it is too CUTE!! kakaka...really...ST is a vry cute dog.
about shih tzu...my aunt got a shih tzu.cant denied dat shih tzu is a very cute,adoreble and friendly to ppl!!! the first time i visited to my aunt house after she got shih tzu....i got a very warm welcome from her shih tzu.he licks my face,jump on to my lap... a true lap dog! but one thing i dont get shih tzu is they have a jungle of hair. shed alot. this is the problem my aunt face no.
just some advise and my own opinion...hope can help u in your searching. maybe u can go around to find out from pet shop, breeders or friends. it really help u a lot! i did get vry good advise from a shih tzu breeder. her name is Mey LimSM. u can try to ask her.
