Need Help...	Can't Post

Hello i am super new to this forum.

I have a 7 yr old mix breed dog in my house( pekinese mix with silky terrier). I am thinking of getting a golden retriever. But... This old dog is very aggresive to other dogs.. How can I prevent him and the new dog from fighting because he gets super angry when he sees other dogs. Not very friendly though. Any advice?

welcome to the forum!

i think you might need to split both dogs so they wont fight

cage ur aggresive doggie for a while, until he settles down and not be so alpha.

DO NOT cage old doggies when intro new doggie. intro em at a neutral ground, a park, some frens' hse with other doggies as well. jz need to make sure the intro must be done NOT in ur older doggies's territories
