Hi there.. My shih tzu have been down with flu.. May i know wat are the DO and DON'T to make it recover fast... I din switch on any air-cond.. Juz fan..

I brought to vet dy.. The vet gave him 3 med.. 1 vit, 1 for flu and 1 for antibiotic.. Bobby seems to lost his appetite.. He won't eat anything from the plate.. He onli eat when i feed him with my hand.. ><

Ooooo. Antibiotic can make the lost their appetite @@.. Now onli i know.. Haha.. Thx for the helps.. I been so worry coz usually he take two meal in a day but now onli 1 meal a day.. Bobby still sneezing some of the times.. Hope he can recover soon

Well, he still sneeze sometimes.. Not veli often.. Sometimes cough too.. I dunno whether he got no appetite to eat or he started to be picky with his food.. I try to mix the kibble with some wet food product and he juz slurp it all in a few minutes... I think i better stick with the kibble after the wet food finish coz i dun wanna spoilt him.. Do u think this is a good idea?

hi,
well....what i did is, i'l cook chicken for my pups... just boiled the chicken in plain water. no added sugar or salt or anythg....leave it cold. then i'l serve it with kibbles...so, what they eat is like soupy kibbles....somehow i feel that this is better as it is not so dry...
but it really depends on u. whether u wan to do it this way or u only wan to feed dry kibbles..coz if u do dat for a long period of time, it will b difficult for you to go back to only dry kibbles..coz they will b used to soupy food....

still a bit of coughing and sneezing.. U think i shud bring him to vet again? his 2nd vacination will be on 15 Oct.. If he still a bit sick, will it be better to delay the jab first? >"<

hi,
how long has ur pup sick? less than a week? i think if it is less than a week, u don really need to bring him to vet.....see his condition lo...even we human don recover that fast rite?
normally, if your pup is sick, the vet will ask you to delay the jab for at least 1 week...so, if u r not sure, u can try to bring him on 15th oct n let the vet decide lo....

Izit normal for a puppy to sneeze.. I mean i can see droplets of water on the floor whenever he sneeze.. Not veli frequent.. About two or three times a day i would say.. izit something wrong with his health?
