Vet visit Can't Post

Hi, how much do you usually fork out on every vet visit for your dog in Malaysia? and how often does your dog visit the vet? Thanks!

Hi Julie,

Check the forum “POLL” and if you can’t find it in there then place your message in “suggestions for poll topic”. In this way you will reach more members and get the better picture. Wink

My giant breed dog might cost a little more per each vet visit then any toy breed ever will. However, the vet will charge appr. Rm 20 for looking at the pooch and talking to us. The rest will be for whatever is done.

We took our dog for tooth cleansing and it cost us RM400 in Sweden!! It cost much more than the same procedure on a human (RM250) Unsure

Our furkids need general anesthetic just for cleaning the teeth. With growing size of dog it needs more of the gas; hence, will cost more as bigger the pooch is.

in m'sia it seems 2 be cheaper..... only approximately RM250 for a GR....

but it really depends on which vet u go to....some charge more expensive n some r much cheaper....

nonetheless oversea...everything oso more expensive than m'sia....their spaying fees oso cost more....

my dog seems to visit d vet quite frequently....in this year....went 2 d vet for 3 times already....

coz she seems to be easily injured......once her paw pad got a cut....d next time d leg's turn 2 get cut....

maybe she were too excited n dashing around during trekking...

It is a rare breed and called Leonberger, named after the city of Leonberg in Germany. This breed was created to resemble the Lion in the city’s crest.
