Limping & Groaning Retriever	Can't Post

Hi,

Billy must have twisted his leg so he is limping. I think his muscles are also aching so he is groaning & crying a little. Poor dog. Anything I can do to make him more comfortable ?

Hello Terry,
Trivor twisted her left leg last week while playing with my sister's Pekingese. She walked like handicap. We brought her to vet immediately.Luckily no bone fractured and took back some medications. She is ack to normal after 1 week.
Pls bring her to vet ASAP to see if your dog got bone fractured.

Yea..trivor's right. Should bring to him to the vet especially since he is a larger breed dog. If he's groaning then it means that its really painful. Unsure

As for comfort..restrict his movements. Cut down on play.

Your dog's crying in pain ... pls send him to the vet. Better get the vet to check cos you're not sure what's the exact cause...

Thanks for the advise. Billy is much better already. No more limping too. His muscle must have been aching like mad after KK. He is normally a very lazy dog but on that day, he was swimming and running for hours.
