Re: [seekcheck] i need help for my doberman dog [In reply to] Can't Post

You need to give us the whole scenario. Now, as I understand you use to cage them then take them out for walks now you have a bigger place you let them out to run together. Well, as I see it, females do not usually fight if they are let out together when young, they sort themselves out but you did not do so earlier, now they are trying to sort it out and they do not wish to submit. Introduce a male dog would not help. My opinion, give two away. For dobes never have two males, you are asking for it plus females hold grudges more than males. I have three females no issue even if I bring a male dog not puppy back but I would hesitate to bring a full grown female back. I am also certain if you leash them and take them out in a park they will get along but once home they will start fighting again. No remedy. Sorry.

Agree with PSY to socialise from young ...
U can send her for some character correction course n training. i think below 1yrs still young.
Dont give her away.
I also can offer to hse one of them temperory to social with my male Dobes.
So where is yr place at bintang?

Sad or otherwise, one must look at it subjectively, it will fight and I strongly feel it will not be sorted out, so why do you want to make 4 if not more individuals in the household suffer than rather have everyone be happy when two is given away. The dogs you give away will be happy, the one you wish to keep will be happy and your whole family will be happy..... a win win situation.

Re: [james70] i need help for my doberman dog [In reply to] Can't Post

So sorry but I do not think your suggestion is a good idea simply if you take one of the dogs to your place you will not have any issue simply due to the fact your dog is the "alpha" plus a female will always submit to a male. To socialize with other dogs do not work, it is the enviroment, that is why when they were taken for walks they were fine as mentioned but home is where things are happening. Adopt them out. Had a bad experience of the same nature once.

Re: [seekcheck] i need help for my doberman dog [In reply to] Can't Post

The simple solution to this is to find the other two Dobes new homes or the one that's attacking. I would say this is a dominance issue because all three of them are b*tches.

There's no such thing as training them to like each other. That will never happen because that dog WILL continue attacking them forever because she just does NOT like them so it's either she goes or the other two go...

Good pcs of Advice here.
Just ask - does this apply to b*tch only? to all other breed of dogs as well? will it happen if all those 3 dogs grow up together since born?
thanks again

Re: [james70] i need help for my doberman dog [In reply to] Can't Post

Dominance & canine aggression is a common dog behaviour & can be seen in ALL breeds of dogs including mongrels, regardless of their gender.

If that aggressive dog was brought up together & was properly socialized with the other two & other dogs from YOUNG, that dog would *probably* not be as aggressive as it is today. There are many dogs out there that are born dominant & no matter how much socialization it has had, the dog will always be dominant because that's just how it was born.

And dominant dogs AREN'T bad dogs at all! These dogs need to live in a home where there are no other dogs & they need FIRM or EXPERIENCED owners to handle them because these dogs will walk all over their handlers if not taught to do otherwise.

Re: [seekcheck] i need help for my doberman dog [In reply to] Can't Post

Why do you want to add ANOTHER problematic dog when you're already having so much trouble keeping the aggressive one under control? No, getting a dominant male will NOT make the whole situation any better because if the male tries to dominate the dominant female or vice versa, all hell will break loose!!!

CLEARLY you are NOT ready for these kind of dogs because you have no clue on how to keep everything under control. I already mentioned in my previous reply that dominant dogs should live in a house where there are NO other dogs in the household so that there will be no trouble & they need EXPERIENCED owners who have done their extensive research on this breed & KNOW how to handle them. NOT "softies" or "newbies" who TOTALLY have NO idea on how to handle these kind of dogs but still get them for I don't know what reason...Looks maybe???

Are ANY of your dogs trained?
