u mean jumped on top of the roof? on the bonnet? or jz in the car? wat dogs u have, how old r they? never heard of puppies able to jump dat height yet...

they jump on the bonnet and play. i getting crazy with their behavior oredi. all my housemate car bonnet scratched by them oredi and my housemate keep complain abt it.how ar?? pls help me. one is local breed and another one is dachund mixed pincher(consider small size) both of hem are almost 7 months. how come my puppies act like a cat ar?? headache......

hi vibeno,
wait a minute...actually wat's new? ur dogs, the cars, or ur place? usually if a pup grows up at the same place, when it start doing things u dont want em to do, stop em straight away. it will learn it a short period of time. either u've jz got those hyper active dogs, u've got new cars or u've jz moved to a new place with the dogs... if its not these three things, then the biggest mistakes u've done is to let em think that jumping on the cars & play is alright. u didnt stop em when they started. anyway... the only way u can do right now is to teach em from the beginning, let em know that jumping up there is wrong, punish em each time they are up there, leash em, cage em, watever... but the key is to let em know that ur the master & wat the do is wrong. have patience in these as u've failed to trained em at the earlier stage... good luck fren ahhh.... another way is everyone change their cars to suv, mpv, pickup, van, or any higher cars... hehehe

Canlah. Get to know the FCI people well and lobby them to insert the bonnet jump into the agility trial. Or better still, establish the bonnet jump as a canine sport in its own right. The lowest level will be the Ferrari, exclusively for small breeds. Medium breeds can do Proton Wira, Waja, Toyota, BMW &c &c. Then you move up one level to all the SUVs. The top level will be the TATA trucks, only for large breeds. Mixed breeds can do kereta potong.

i just remember tat i got put my puppies on the bonnet before coz want to punish them for bite my shoe coz tat time they still very small n scar to jump from the car, i feel very funny tat time. haiz........ i think tis is my fault lah...... any way...thanks for all the advise...

now i see y they like to jump onto ur car..
is cos last time u put them there, they tink is very chi kek and fun.. and they want to do it again.. now tat u don punish them by putting them onto ur car bonet, they try their own way to do so..
i would suggest u leash them when u not there to watch them, and then put them offleash when u free to supervise them.. then if they ever try to jump, pull their tail. SO, first few weeks, u gotta watch carefully wat their reaction when u see them go near ur housemates' and ur car. dont ever let them think abt it..
