Yay Yay!!! Finally I can attend one of these gathering! I will definitely bring my 2 ACS there.

Rascal will be sooooo happy to see so many new friends and Gizmo, probably his first experience with that many dogs. Hahahah and also the perfect place to test my "Gentle Leader" leash that my friend sent all the way from USA for a price tag of USD25! Ouch....let's see if it really works what it claims it can do to a dog. Hahahahaahaha.........

So those who are going, if you spot an over sized ACS with a leash protruding from under its mouth, that's Rascal ok!!!

Woot woot....time to take my boys for a hair-cut for the big outing. Hahahahahahah.......

See everyone there hopefully!

I'll got a big hole in my pocket then... But thanks anyway for your suggestion..Actually I've been thinking of this way too, but too pricy..

Sasha barks in the car one ah ??

I will sure faint one if Nana keeps barking cos the pitch is kinda high at times..Nana will be like in the room playing then suddenly she barks and runs out very quickly so that always startles me..its like their senses are real sensitive one lor, they seems to be very aware that ppl are coming or my neighbour is coming back..

yeah yeah...sasha will bark esp at the traffic lights where some motors stop beside the cars...n usually if the motorcyclist is dark in colour....

same here...sasha will be playing in the room, n then suddenly bark n run outside if there;s any sound...

sasha wasn;t like dat when she was young...only when she was about 8 mths old (if i remember correctly) that she starts barking in the car...so i got her a muzzle to keep her quiet...hehehehe

Hehe, isnt the phone heavy ? How nice if we can train them to bring anything we want them to bring..hehe..

For me, i think i would love to train Nana to keep her toys, its like all over the place leh, room also got, outside living room and dining area n kitchen area also got...haii..mummy had to go pick it up everytime, there is this one dog bone that Nana has which is quite light yellow in color, it is quite invisible sometimes on the floor so when ppl accidentally steps on it, it is like stepping on a Durian..'Ouch' Unsure

That's nice, lao juak..thinking of getting Nana a companion lor but havent really got fate with any puppies yet, may still wait for Nana to be a bit older first...i scared Nana at times also lonely at home cos mostly in the afternoon she will just lay down beside my dad while my dad using the PC, she dont really play with her toys that much anymore one lor..

Soon Nana is going to be 6 mths liao..so fast..waiting for her period to come now nia..better confine her at home cos these days she howls at this particular dog that pass by my house..it is my corner neighbour's dog which the Uncle bring him out for walks every night one..other than that Nana will just 'Woof woof' nia..i do notice that dogs do make different sounds lor like, real sharp pitch barking, woof woof and howling..

Btw what does howling means ha ?

Yes yes!!! I've thought of that before.. Because Goofy has too many toys, and he always throw dunno where..But the weird thing is he remember where he throw, under cupboard, under sofa, ...I always see him squeezing himself underneath to get his toys back... And same like you, I've stepped that nylon bone before and that is not funny, you might shout your heart out for pain!!!

oh...am not very sure oso why she howls at the dog...hmmm...coz so far hvn;t experience it yet. but i hrd that husky do howls when it's full moon...my sis's fren husky will howl each time it's full moon....hahahaha..unless they put the dog inside the house and unable to see the full moon lo...sounds eerie eh...Wink

don worry if you see her sleepy in the afternoon...normally it;s like dat..my 3 gals won play in the afternoon too...all of them will sleep at their own place in the afternoon...usually they will only play in the morning and at nite...till now they are like dat....

but if u plan to hv another dog, good oso la...at least a companion...and it's fun to see them play...i got sze ern when sasha was 4 months old..

wat breed are u planning to get? MS? how;s mooky's pups? not interested?

yup...they do make diff sound to indicate diff thing...n after a while we oso know what type of sounds they will make under what circumstances...heheheLaugh

ok, I am sure the admin is reading this, may be they can organize in smaller scale...or a gathering in Penang then we all can meet up..

we will have swiming competition at the beach, fastest sand running dog, fastest rescue...erm..sounds like good idea, but must have sponsors also lah, I guess the dog population in Penang is big enough to have event...big opportunity for the pet food supplier..

Lily, ur right, its painful one lor..think most of my family members have stepped on it before and like shouted 'NANA!' or me will shout 'Nanaaaa..y u leave ur bone here'. They have good memory on where they left their toys one but sometimes when there is too many toys lying around, i would ask Nana to go search for a rawhide or her fav dogdog, it would kinda take her a while to figure out or sniff out where she left it..hehe.

Anyways i make sure i washed it before i give her back her nylon bone..imagine her licking all of our yucky stuffs off our legs.. Laugh

Erm Nana howling dont sound like the wolf one..more of like barking then continue into howling mode..

ur right one sooner or later u will be able to differentiate their sound like for example, Nana these days dun pee or poo in her crate while she sleeps at night until morning liao so in any case if she already pee or poo before i wake up, she will whine very softly and bark softly at times to wake u up as if to tell u 'Mummy wake up n clean my crate now..smelly la'...hehe..this morning Nana woke me up with a soft whining before my alarm clock so i woke up to see lor if she really poo in her crate or not lor but mana tahu she only pee nia but when i let her out she follow me go toilet and do her big business..hehe..very smart nia.

Nana next mth 6mths old liao lor..oh Mooky's pups ah, sold out liao wor, didnt get a chance to really see them lor, that's y dunno which breed to get now..look see look see and see got fate with any pups or not lor..slowly looking.

Sorry ah...MIA for the last few days. Have to rush back to Mlk on sunday to attend grandma's funeral. Only got back to KL yesterday and got on the net today. hahaha imagine the amount of emails!! Aiyo...........one whole morning reply emails until I pening liao. Crazy Then now logon here, see so many of u cant make it this sunday. Frown

I already got an apt with the groomer tomorrow afternoon. Wan Rascal and Gizmo to look like James Bond on Sunday.

Hoping to get some cheap stuff from the fair on sunday. Aiyo hopefully can get parking lah. Well if u happen to be there, look for a group ppl with 2 ACS. One ACS soooo big that you'll start to wonder if it's really a ACS or a miniature GR with huge ears. The other, probably 1/5 the giant's size.

Ello all....how's the gathering.......

I was there early in the morning and left before noon. I think Gizmo really ENJOYED himself to the max . As for Rascal, Pirate i dont think he really like it. Pirate

Gizmo happily making friends with everyone and anyone. Drinking the water that is supplied whenever he is thirsty and rolling all over the grass like his bed.

Rascal on the other hand..... Crazy rather thirst himself to death than to drink the water supplied by them because it has bits of grass in the bowl. He rather stand on all 4 of his paws the whole time there rather than put his ass down on the damp grass, what more lie down on it! Crazy Freaks out whenever other dogs tries to sniff his ass and doesnt even attempt to sniff other dogs. Crazy So he was the anti-social one. Crazy

I donnu bout prices of things lah. Should be cheap kua. Frontline Spot On was going for about RM74 for Large, RM59 for Small. I guess KL pricing should be cheap lor. I get mine from Mlk for a buck more than what they sold at the fair.

Overall it was fun. I've met some long lost friend there with their furkids. Too bad some of you couldnt make it. Next year then!

hello steffy,

nice to hear that gizmo enjoyed himself!!!

ohh..is this the first time rascal is out with other dogs? bcoz sze ern behave the same way like rascal too....well..at least now, she lets other dogs sniff her d...when we first brought her out last time, she reacted exactly like rascal...

but of course, being a lazy lady she is, she will lie down n relax lo..like not interested to mix around..unlike sasha n sheena...sheena can mix with anybody and manja with them...guess sheena is very much like gizmo...as for sasha...she will mix but sometimes can even wan to fight with other dogs that snarl or snap at her....Pirate all 3 totally diff character...Unsure

guess u hv to bring rascal out to socialise more....from wat i read about rascal, how he behaves outside and when gizmo first arrived to your home, i would say he is very very much like sze ern...gentle, nice and only get close to ppl/dogs that he knows and comfortable withSmile

But few things that I notice at the event that make me feel sickCrazy

1st - there are still alot of brainless & lazy dog owners don't even pick up after their dog poopoo 8am arrive at the park already saw many poopoo already kena boom & many human already kena step on itCrazy

2nd - When I was about to leave the place. If I not mistaken, I saw a aunty selling puppies at BU Park The puppies only few month old Are the breeder got brain or not!!! The pups also not yet get full vaccination already bring the pups out at the park and mix with human and other dogs. I think this is the same aunty I saw at MKA dog show selling her puppies at Sri Kembangan before.

Purina Puppycom K9 Olympic Champion

There will be 12 dog competitions that are open to all dog owners and their dogs to participate. Participation is totally free for all. For each competition, there will be first, second and third placing with prizes and points of 10, 8 and 6 respectively. The dog that have accumulated the most points after all the competition will be the Malaysia K9 Olympic Champion 2007 and prizes as below. Those who wish to participate can choose to join as many competition as they wish.

<< Malaysia K9 Olympic Champion >>
RM 500.00 cash, Trophy, Purina Dog Food and Biscuit, Dog Treats and a Human Hamper

<< Malaysia K9 Olympic Champion Reserved >>
RM 300.00 cash, TrophyPurina Dog Food and Biscuit, Dog Treats and a Human Hamper

Mr Khoo,

We wish to bring to your attention an unsavoury incident which happened at last Sunday’s Dog Olympic event during the determination of the results for the Olympic Champion and Reserve Champion. Our dog, Groovy the JRT, won 3 games (Ultimate Recall, Dog Walk and Longest Jump) and was 2nd in the Olympic Run giving him a total of 38 points which was more than enough to secure the Reserve Champion title.

However, we were shocked to find Groovy’s scores on the scoreboard being cancelled and amended to only 18 points, hence losing the title in the process. When queried on the change in scores, a committee member came out with the feeble excuse that Groovy’s score was halved because he was being handled by 2 owners, me and my girlfriend. Now, how lame is that? As far as we recall, there were many other dogs being handled by 2 or more owners and their scores weren’t diluted except for Groovy’s.

Besides, we refer to your rules on the K9 Olympic games and quote, The dog that have accumulated the most points after all the competition will be the Malaysia K9 Olympic Champion 2007 and prizes as below.’ Clearly, Groovy (a dog) has satisfied all the critieria in your rules and by accumulating 38 points, should rightfully be allowed to win his keep.

The incident has left a very bad taste in our mouths and we do hope that you will get to the bottom of this matter, as the mishandling of results does reflect very poorly on the games committee and the event as a whole.

Yours sincerely,

Fawn

The clarification from the Game Committee as follow :-

In all competitions in the Dog Olympic Day, the Name of the Handler and the Dog of the each winner team are recorded. Dog they themselves will not be able to complete those competition themselves. How well a dog will perform will depend on the handling skill and physical condition of each handler. For example, the Dog Olympic Run depend very much on the stamina of the handler. A fast dog with handler with poor stamina and speed will not win the race and vice versa. Other competitions also depend on the skill of the handler to give proper command so that the dog can perform and win each competition. Hence a direct comparison of the performance can only be based on the combination of Handler/Dog and points were awarded to each pair accordingly. Only in this way we are able to ensure fairness to all those participated. By the way, there are more than one dogs handled by multiple handlers. Result is being tabulated and will be posted in due course.

Why didn't include this rules & regulations at first place??? I go thru the Event info page, there is no mention about this matter and I think all result should remain.

How can after the competition you just add this kind of rules!!! Don't you think is unfair to the participants??? So unprofesional!!!

It's not just this event only. Previous K9 Olympic 2006, in the Ultimate Sit Stay event where the final 2 dogs are 2 JRTs and the eventual winner is not even determined yet, the committee member stop the whole game and named one JRT as the winner and the other one as 1st Runner up.

Where's the fair play that we always strive to achieve?

Yealor....i've brought him to friend's place to play with his other dogs. In fact brought Rascal to a few friend's place to play with other dogs liao, he doesnt seem interested to play with them. He just prefers to lie around, watch us humans doing our stuff than to play with his own friends. Crazy Of cos the other dogs too bz sniffing him and their guests lor and always will try to play with him. Rascal either ignores them totally or growls back at them like telling them "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Crazy He is perfectly ok with ppl, the merry, happy and jolly cocker spaniel is in him and will only be displayed to humans.

But rascal really HATES damp grass. I'll have to pull him like tarik lembu to get him on the grass sometimes.

Asked the vet bout this liao, vet says it's personality. Like humans wor, there are things which we absolutely hate and things that we love. So do dogs wor. Crazy

I've even thought of bringing rascal to the JT thing that is held every saturday, but on second thought better not lah. He already hates damp grass, somemore want him to walk in mud. Aiya.....rascal might be cursing me to death and the whole JT, I wouldnt be walking a dog, I'll be pulling a BULL! Crazy

I'll try again at the next gathering held by UPM. Gizmo would be bigger then and definitely looking forward to future events like that.

Games committee,

Wow, that is a very convoluted and technical interpretation of a rule which nobody was aware of. As Chrisong has mentioned, with the rules being so specific and technical, why wasn’t it brought to the attention of all participants, and only mentioned days after the event has concluded.

Just reading your original published rule which states, ‘The dog that have accumulated the most points after all the competition will be the Malaysia K9 Olympic Champion 2007 and prizes as below’, any ordinary person would come to the conclusion that it is the dog’s performance that matters and the 2 dogs who have accumulated the most points from the games will then go on to win the titles of Champion and Reserve Champion. How the games committee has managed to interpret this sentence to be as convoluted and long winded as the ‘new technical rule’ above is beyond imagination.

Now just for argument sake, we will assume that you intended for these ‘new technical rules’ to apply which somehow was mistakenly left out from your event posting. The ‘new technical rules’ only make sense if all the 12 games require a certain skill or difficulty level which involve training and specific handling elements. As it is, the games on Olympic Day encompass Best Dressed, Fastest Eating, Best K9 Twin, Waggiest Tail and Simon Says which do not require any or much handling skills at all. So how do you justify diluting the scores should a dog win these 5 events under 2 different handlers? Under your ‘new technical rules’, the dog’s score of 50 would have to be divided by 2 handlers leaving him with only 25 points. As a result, the dog loses out on the Champion titles which is absurd and does not make sense at all. There is no specific handling skill being exhibited in all these events and it really does not matter if the dog was handled by the owner, gf, brother, sister or any member of the family for that matter.

In addition, certain games may require 2 handlers to be present eg. Ultimate Recall and Best Dressed (when dressing up the dog). How do you divide the score in this instance, 5 points each? The games committee should be extremely careful when conjuring up these ‘new technical rules’ after the event because they don’t really make any sense at all. The objective of casual doggie games is to encourage participation amongst all owners and dog lovers and your ‘1 dog 1 handler rule’ is in total contradiction.

Morever, you have also underestimated Groovy’s abilities as he can perform equally well with either of his 2 owners and it doesn’t really matter who handles him in the games. It is not like agility or tricks or OB trials where the individual handler really makes a difference. Most of the Olympic Day games do not require much handling elements or skill at all. At the other end of the leash, both me and my gf are also equally adept at handling him. Our intention in taking turns in handling him wasn’t designed to achieve any advantage in the games but more so to give both of us a chance to partake in the games. Unfortunately, we have been penalised for a non existence rule which the games committee has so handily conjured up after the event, and that no one was aware of in the first place.

It is certainly very convenient for the games committee to come up with the ‘new technical rules’ after the event has concluded just to justify their own agenda. The action itself doesn’t speak well of the committee and certainly reeks of unsporting and unfair elements, which is a great shame for everyone concerned.

Ps. thanks kien29, chrisong n nairud for your support and comments. Really appreciate it and am glad that you guys can see right through the ‘new rules’ that the committee is trying to impose on the participants after the event.

fawn,

As a games committee member , I noted your comments and will relay your comment to the games committees.

nairud,

As I recall, in all the Sit Stay competition organise by us, we have not stop the games before we have a champion.
In the extreme case where we have 2 dog with very good sit, we will resort to measure such as asking the owner to be out of sight and tempting the dog with toys and food. In a longest sit stay competition, we will even look for small movement where the dog break his sit stay.
Some dog do adjust themselve when them are sitting for a long time. This slightest adjustment where the "buttock leave the floor" will also be judge as breaking a sit stay.

Again, I noted your comment and will relay them to the games comittees too.

General public,

Let me clarify something here for the knowledge of the general public.
1) Games comittee are just volunteer that help puppy.com.my to run the event.
We are doing it so that dog lover like you and me have an event where we can socialise our dog and have fun at the same time.
(That was in the past, nowaday some games committee doesnt even bring their dog to the event anymore because we are so busy in running the games that we have no time to have fun with our dog during the event)

2) Do you notice that non of the games committee participated in any of the games?
During the early days of event by puppy.com.my, we the games committee can have fun
like you and everyone else by joining the games ourself, but we got complain that we "fixed"
games so that "our dog" can win. For the last few event, the games committee have been banned
from joining any of the game. Only in the extreme case where there is no or very few participant in
a game will the games committee actually join the game to make up the number.
I dont think other dog event have this rules cause I seen most games in other dog event being
dominated by the organising committee.

3) All the winner in the olympic games is NOT family member/bf/gf of any of the game committee.
As an additional note, Janice the Olympic Champion is an active forummer here and do attend OB training with
puppy.com.my and David the Reserve Champion is not even related to puppy.com.my as for as I know.

If you think that we are doing such a lousy job, perhaps you can volunteer to run the next event?
Please inform the forum Admin if you would like to volunteer for the next event.

bomberZ Last minute add a new rules after concluded the all games, no doubt the committee are doing a lousy job!!! I didn't see Fawn mention anything about committee member dominated the events or "fixed". Maybe BonberZ misunderstand why Fawn being frastrated over this incident. BomberZ & committee members still didn't answer why last minute adding new rules in the event!!! I not here to support Fawn or who ever nor I want to start up an arguement. I just feel it is unfair for the participants. That it!!!

chrisong,

The mistake the games committee make here is that we did not take the time to define the rules and regulation upfront before the event started.

We will take this mistake as a lesson learn and will draft out the rules and regulation for games in the future.

As for the "fixed" and "our dog" remark, is just some comment that have come to our attention from organising game in the events.

As for event organise by other group, is very unfortunate that I have not personally attended any of the event, I just saw the aftermath.. ie the result and saw most of the winner are from the organising team. That is only my observation.

Chrisong,

No doubt that the games commitee make a mistake for not outlines the rules before the event started.

But after all is say and done, the commitee have made a decision that is fair to all the participant in order to get a direct comparision of result.

The decision is final.

Finally, the games committee have admitted that they made a mistake in not defining the proper rules before the event. However due to the committee’s error, we as participants have relied on and followed the rules which were posted on the Event page only to find that our dog has been penalized for following the prescribed rules. As a result, the Reserve Champion title was taken away from him. N d committee can still come to the conclusion that it is still fair to all participants?

I beg to differ on this and the sentence should read ‘the committee has made a decision that is fair to all participants, except Groovy.’

Bomberz, I think you should refrain from opening anymore can of worms (‘fixed events’, ‘dominated by organizing committee’), as I’ve not even described the whole story of what actually happened on the Olympic Day which will reflect very poorly on the games committee’s indiscretions.

whoa.. let me clarify again. The previous Olympic, Both JRT owners are facing each other's back as I can recall. Let's say one is at 12oclock and another person is at 6 oclock. The last dog to leave b4 the final 2 was beside me and YES i'm one of the contestants because i'm the final 2 competitor there. Once that dog leave the ring, barely 10 secs, the winner is announced. We didnt move away from our dogs unlike this olympic event.

Besides, i think ppcom games committee should've own up to their own mistakes for not including the "so called" additional rule and follow back the unedited rule and give credits to those who have won fair and square. The main point of the whole event is about the dogs and dogs alone should be judged. If the owners are judged also, what about real olympians that have won 1st place in 100m sprint but ended up 3rd place because his/her trainer cant run as fast as he/she could and the total tallied time of the runner and trainer is averaged up?

I'll just wade in here to say that my dog and I enjoyed ourselves and that we thank puppy.com for organising this event.

But the games thing could have been better organised. I agree that it is unfair to fish a hitherto unseen rule out of the hat to cook the results. This reflects very poorly on the games committee and I find your attempts to justify the committee's decisions very lame. And I think it is very bad of you to cast aspersions on the way Pet n U organise their events.

My dog and I took part in the first event and bagged a prize, and the prize winners for that and a couple of other events were called to the ring to take the prizes at about 10 am. I walked over to the ring. Nothing happened. I then learnt from someone with a puppy.com t-shirt that they'd all given up getting the prize winners to collect the pizes. In the end, the prizes were given out at about 1 pm. Mun Yee and Groovy were hot on our heels during the second lap of the race and came in second. But only the first and third prizes were given out. I didn't stay to ask why they didn't come to collect their prize.

I think one of the problems was you had competition from the Purina 30-day challenge thing. For a long time all I could hear over the PA system was the disc jockey from some radio station. The announcements from the ring where the games were held were completely drowned out.

The last time there was such an event, prize winners were asked to hang around immediately after each game and we were then very quickly shepherded into the ring to receive our prizes. This wasn't done last Sunday.

Arún and I look forward to the next puppy.com event and we hope the committee will take on board some of these criticisms. We're not interested in the prizes - Arún eats home-cooked meals a lot of the time and when she does get kibble now and then, it's not Purina. But we would find it much more congenial if everything was fair and everybody can have a lot of fun without things turning sour in this way.

All best.

I am just telling you the reason why we the games committee do not participate in our own games. In the past, we have comment from other participant that once the games committee join our own games, and if he/she win then the result is "fixed".

As for event organise by other group, is very unfortunate that I have not personally attended any of the event, I just saw the aftermath.. ie the result and saw most of the winner are from the organising team. That is only my observation.

BTW, I never doubt your dog or other dog ability.

bomberZ

bomberZ, you are quite a brave fellow making such sweeping statements without having attended any of the pnu events. And despite not attending any events, you still managed to ‘see the aftermath ie. results and most of the winners are from the organising team’ Let’s examine the ‘aftermath’ then for d 1st n 2nd Agility/ OB trials events:

K9 games - In the above events, total of 11 games were held offering 33 prizes. 31 prizes were won by outsiders and 2 were won by committee members.

OB trials - From total of 11 prizes given out during d 2 trials, none went to d committee members. The winners were all MKA or puppycom members.

Agility trials - From total of 43 entries in d 2 trials, 19 are committee members, 14 are trainees n 10 are from other schools. From the 23 prizes given out, 13 went to committee members, 6 to trainees and 4 to other schools. Hence, the committee making up 44% of total entries, won 56% of the prizes which seems like a fair return but far from a dominating performance.

Well the ‘aftermath’ doesn’t appear to be so intimidating after all and your sweeping statements are pure conjecture. Best to examine the facts before making such statements, otherwise you may end up looking even more foolish then ever. Better still, do attend these events and take part as the club genuinely wishes to encourage dog sports in the country. Don’t just stay away from these events and presume to know the ‘aftermath’.

(Details of results are available from website).

Go low my friend. that's what i've told you :P
Photographing pets works best when you're at their eye level. Like the one i shot dookie and piper running around with a stick, i was lying down most of the time. go check out pg 38 or 39 from my pic thread. that day didnt shot much as my bro and sis cant handle both of them, i had to jaga the dogs.

Your pics are nice but a tad too small for ppl to see. you can crop it 6x4 or 4x6 at 100 pixel per inch. that'd will be nice.

You know I told you that I will be moving into a new house soon where there are more place for Ginger and Scruffy. I was thinking of having a doggy halloween party this year. What do you think? I mean just for close friends and photo opportunity for us. All dogs must come dress as something. Lots of Photo opportunity. Ooooo!!! Maybe we can make it BBQ and pot luck at the same time. I will provide the BBQ items and guests can bring other items like dessert and all. What do you think?

Hey cool cool cool!!!! Halloween pawty, that's FUN! My mom says that's a great idea! All dogs dressed up in halloween costumes. Cute! I know what I'll dress Amber up, hehehe... But the other two, donno lah. Maybe one as a witch & the other one as the witch's broom, ahahaha! You holding at night or what? I think somewhere around 5 to 6pm is good. Wanna borrow my dog's HUGE foldable pool? So that the dogs can have fun playing in it while we humans are chowing down some BBQ stuff & deserts? I think that's good idea. But it takes almost an hour to fill it until full. Hey, come out with games oso lah. hehe, I can help you no problem. Not sooo many lah maybe only two like the 'Scariest Canine'. hahaha! It's like the 'Best Dressed' game lah. Coz since we doggies have to dress up, mise as well have a game for it too lah. What do you think?

Yeah woh! Scruffy drank and he got drunk. Actually it wasn't so simple. You see I have a bar at home. When I am at work Scruffy has full run of the house meaning he is not caged up or tied up. One day when I came back to work, I found a broken bottle of Vodka at home. Scruffy loves to eat oranges and so happenned the vodka was Absolute Mandarin which was orange flavoured vodka. He must have broken the bottle and drank the vodka thinking it was orange juice. When I got home I really panicked because I didnt know if he had swallowed some glass and that was what caused him to vomit or the alcohol. He refused to eat that night and was constantly vomitting. In the morning his condition did not improve so I rush him to the vet. However, the vet could not do much for him too because there was no way to tell if he has swallowed glass by doing an Xray. So in the end, I had to admit him and the vet put him on glucose drip. That was all we could do. The vet can only monitor him and treat him as the symptoms appear. He was hospitalized for 3 days, drove me up the wall with worry, I cried constantly for the 3 days till my eyes swollen, could not eat myself, spent RM500 and all this because he got drunk!!!

So now I have learned my lesson my bar is locked all the time now. Tongue
