My baby is having an operation to remove a foreign object from her stomach tomorrow. Please pray for her. I never took her as a scavenger but you can never know until disaster strikes.... Alicia Ling Horsley

The operation has been delayed as she has been found to have a protozoic infestation. this means another 4 days at the hospital at least Alicia Ling Horsley

her op was on, then off. i am so frustrated but also relieved. she should be coming home tomorrow after i week in that place and has ripped out 8 drip sets already.
does anyone go to the animal hospital? what do you think of dr siva (snr)? i felt as if he was criticising me for sheeri's situation and he certainly said that her difficult and unco-operative behaviour was due to 'the nature of our relationship', whatever the hell that is supposed to mean!?!? hi,
good news then....she's finally coming home.
i haven't go there before but i think what he meant was ur dog was not an obedient dog or sheeri was not so cooperative when the operation was done or u did not train sheeri well?
hey, juz don't worry about it...cheer up...sheeri's coming home tomorrow

she is home now and much happier. she made friends with one particular vet asst and seemed to like one of the younger vets very much.
btw, sheeri is actually rather well trained. she was going crazy because the cage was too small and they didn't walk her. she is accustomed to roaming free in my house, sleeps in my bed and at least one walk a day.
the bill was astronomical and i am still not to convinved about dr siva. he still did not know her name when she was abuot to be discharged nevermind that she was female. he still suggested some food which contained egg, even though i told him she is very allergic to eggs and chicken.
i am so glad she is home (at my feet while i type) and that she didn't need an operation. i just don't know if i would go back there. Alicia Ling Horsley
