Re: [RealityDreamer] Where to get a Bullmastiff? [In reply to] Can't Post

Actually, I don't have any preference as long as when I see the lil fella we just "click" Wink

As for the gender, I'm still contemplating whether to get a male or a female. Right now I have a male beagle aged 3 months plus. Since he is small I'm afraid that the new bullmastiff would bully him especially if it is a male. Hmm....do you think this realy matters?

I agree with you Phillip about good quality food for the first 12months. When I brought back Nero, his coat was rough and not shiny. Right now after close to 2months on EaglePack his coat is already shinning & soft. Smile Everyone at home can see the difference, even friends who visit.

Cheers

it's up to you really Smile

i don't think it'll matter since you'll be getting the a pup. even though ur beagle is smaller, the new pup will still respect him as he is older. Tyson respects Silky alot..even if you put a piece of meat in between them, they'll both not want to eat it as if saying; "Tyson: you go ahead. Ladies first, besides you're older. Silky: go on..take it..you're younger..you're a growing boy" Smile

yea...agree abt that too and the eating habit of a bullmastiff. Now he's slower compared to when he first came.

uurrr.....I didn't see the sire, the dam owner keeps one dog only. 3 puppies were dead, only 2 survived. I'll check with him when I go JB next time (he stays in JB).

Hi annkam,

Not sure if you are still looking for a bullmastiff or if you already have one... because I have got contacts to this breeder whom I got my bullmastiff from. He is very experienced and has recently brought a bitch to mate with my bullmastiff. We are still waiting to see if she is pregnant. Anyway, if you are interested, do email me at gerrykpy@hotmail.com

By the way, Prince, my bullmastiff is very dominant over Bruce, a GR which we also owned and tends to get VERY VERY jealous when we pat Bruce and not him. He will try all ways to get attention, but never never hurt Bruce. I think in Chloe's situation, it was because Silky was present first and then him, that is why there is no domineering characteristic. However, I also believe it has much to do with the dogs' temperment and how the dogs were brought!

Good luck in your search!

Hello,Smile

Brown colour?

Could you describe it more?

Coz there are alot of mastiff like breeds which are brown in colour and large.
