knock-knoc... I'll be your 2nd customer ... During my uni time, there was one S'porean gal who was fancy about dogs. Everything also dogs. I couldn't tahan her and thought she is crazy Finally, GOD punishes me and transforms me into a dog lover. I dunno how to be myself when comes to dog
I was just thinking it's good to have my very own chitchat thread. So no need to keep watch on so many other threads sampai crazy.
Hey, did you or did you not go to the ROD?! I remembered you saying that you couldn't make it , right? I went there, and since I don't know anyone I didn't really enjoy the day lor.
YOUR thread mah... sure you can set up any RULES! but please dun be as fussy as I am... i always kick my customer out one... until they dun even bother to "order drinks" and can langsung enjoy their chat one
And, YES, I didn't attend the RDO event. FYI, I never attend any gathering held by puppycom. I'm just a virtual Tamagochi Macky~
Tamagochi kick, no need button one.... Khoo also mo-mien-bei! Kkakakaak.... as long as frenly chat, how dare i go and kick my virtual buddies wor.... must sayang sayang and share share mar.....
I just watched the movie "Catch me if you can" yesterday. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks. It's a very interesting movie, although sometimes I see it's actually a sad story about a teenager. You all should watch it if you can. Thumbs up for it !
It's like the "Pretender" series. But in this case, he "trained" himself up with his ingenuity. Must have very high IQ !
but this fella is indeed the guy who invented all sort of security measures for cheques today.
can u catch up with the story at first watch? i had to repeat parts that i don't quite understand. u know, especially those ways he used to forge the cheques.
I think I did manage to catch up along with movie... hehehe...
Anyway, the most important thing is that it was during the 70s (or was it 60s?). The technology then wasn't that advance and Abagnale saw the loopholes in the system. He misused the system for his own benefit as a way to get his life back. But felt destroyed when... you know... it couldn't be done in the end (certain key component no longer around). It was his quick thinking that got him through all obtacles. The ways he used to gather information is very impressive too.
And that part when he got through the Bar exam. Wow...
Nowadays (or in the future) we will have hackers do the same thing since most transactions will be through Internet or similar technology in years to come. Hackers have good and bad ones too. The good ones actually tell companies about the loopholes in their system.
yeah i guess u pretty much covered the storyline of the movie :)
tom hanks is such a good actor by the way. i must say, he only acts in good movies.
lol. hackers in the future doing the same? i suppose so. well, i guess hackers had already began doing such things le.
normally expert hackers who got caught will end up being good..like leornado in CMIUC, ended up as security heads or something to seek for loopholes in company's system
