Yes .. I must confess I'm in IT too. My official title is Software Developer/Training Director, but I do lots of things, I've also done consulting and project management and I code in VB, ASP and Notes.

Hi,

Ahh, many IT ppl here.. I am in IT as well.

I am dealing mostly on software development for the hospitality sector, for example: Cruise Ships. My office is in PJ. The software itself origin from Germany and we are one of their partner in software developments.

I am self employment - running a Security Services firm, which it's more onto Security Guard Dogs Services here in Sarawak currently. Also in the middle of setting up Malaysia's first green dog breeding program to be export to Europe & Asia region.

I'm with the aviation maintenance industry..meaning we fix aeroplanes and keep them flying. Yup, that's what I do. Sly

Well Arthur, since you have ask ... there you go ... a very brief information about our green dog breeding program ... can't provide much at this time ... still in progress Cool

!!!

This is a breeding program done specifically for the requirement of working dog ... young dog will be tested [temperament & drives] before any training given between the age of 09 months old to 16 months old.

Basically we are to bred and to raise the quality breed of dog, which the dog receiving plenty of socialization and different exposures ... wanted them just to be a dog ... a real dog!!! These young pup & young dog will receive special care & attention individually, we would allow them to show their drives (since they are working breed) and would category them accordingly before the test being done.

The tester can be from any part of this world but at this time, we stay with two contacts only. We would bred under their guide line and to reach their expectation.

Those test is to find out whether they have the required drive for specific work task ... thing like one need a good sense dog for Narcotic or Explosive training, one need a good hunt drive to be train for Search & Rescue or tracking, one need a strong nerves to be train for apprehensive work ... etc, etc & etc.

I would love to introduce & "may be" to prove to our Ministry of Defense and the local Police department about our breeding program and the training method that we have received and "modify" to suit the specific training task and hopefully, Malaysia doesn't required to import dog from oversea in no time since we could have the quality supply if not better than the imports just right here .... Malaysia!!!

Yes, it's the job that brought me to Malaysia. Currently I'm working for a start up company that is developing a code generating product. The product is the result of my work colleague's many years experience. So I'm helping polish up the product for sale and providing documentation. Once it's sold I'll do training as well as I am qualified vocational education teacher.

My last job before coming here was with a firm that developed web content management system. This system was used to build afl.com.au (Australia's most frequently visited web site) and many others. While with them I did consulting and project management.

We have member from aviation, security (dog) and majority are from IT or somehow related to IT. Hopefully we could share advises not only in terms of doggy related but also work related. IT is a pretty small world. Maybe we have bumped into one another before Wink
