Just heard over Radio4, the DJ says, from research (dunno what source) dog lovers will mostly turn up to be a good father!! Dunno how true is it? But I guess that may be one more good reason to keep a dog when ur wife objects..hehe...saying you'll make a good father!

Hi! May I expend an additional comments to this thought?
"Motivational dog trainer makes a good father"
Reason being to be a motivational dog trainer, one needs to be ahead two steps of the dog and anticipate correctly what the dog is thinking or going to do. He uses prevention rather than cure. He uses motivation rather than compulsions. He is forgiving of the dogs mistakes and re-thinks how else he should handle the dog and be ahead of the dog again. He does not rush the dog into a regimented schedules and only in 100% understanding does he enforces the rule. Therefore his method creates deep bond with his dog where the dog in return would give its life to protect him.
Now wouldn't that befitting of a perfect father?

Anyway, it is interesting to look at dog training from the dogs prospective. Gets things better done this way.
Psst! don't tell my dog, he thinks he is in charge of me and training me all the time. I left it this way as long as he gives me an excellent heel, a fast n tucked sit and a drop dead down.....I'll let her be in charge anytime....muahahahaha
