You are absolutely right. We have to take care of our favourite spot & also the environment around us. I'll bring some big garbage bags, maybe we can use them to make temporary dustbin in various places for everyone to use.

Support u man. How about have it this year end ? Sometime around X'mas ? I would say KK is an ideal venue.

As for events for the day, I can help to come out with a few.

Rent a Stadium and make it a HUGE Annual Puppycom Event!Angelic Enclosed-open-air stadium would be just nice for all doggies. Yet, a big field for activities, trail for competition, big carpark, place for pee-poo, booth for ticketing and prizes.... wow~ is it possible to have it in an open sir stadium? (IF with sponsorship?)

Would love to see this Event in year 2004 (keeee~ i wanna join larTongue) so would have more time to plan ahead and give it a big HIT to the doggie community in M'sia. FIRST ANNUAL PUPPYTHON. Get Sponsorship~ Sell tickets~ get supporters from all m'sian doggie-fans to this Forum. Wanna do it? do it BIG~ if langsung just for FUN, then maybe can make it twice a year in KK as a casual outing for puppycom members.

You suggesting around x'mas? Mmm...... dun lar... I wanna organise another party then.... Unsure

I support the idea of having a big garbage bags cause during KK, i saw the dustbin were piling so high and we had no place to dump the poos of our dogs anymore. Therefore the pile gets higher and higher. I kinda feel sorry for the person to clean up in the end.
And then some dogs will go sniffing and play in the rubbish.

Hi guys Smile

That's a great idea. But I also believe anyone who's brining their dogs should bring their own plastic bag and pick up after their own dog(s). We should all be responsible enough to keep a watchful eye over where our dogs go and pick up immediately. So many dogs...so many ppl....it won't be that nice if anyone steps on it and make it a bigger mess.

If we can't even pick up after the furkids and can't make sure the place is clean, we really have no one to blame if Datuk Bandar does erect a sign prohibiting us from going there anymore. Who can blame the residents for complaining if we leave landmines everywhere for them right? Tongue

Fully agree wth you, we should pick up after our own doggies. At the Dogathon, noticed some irresponsible owners who just let their dogs crapped & walked away, leaving the place smelly & potential landminds for unsuspecting victims.

A couple of big big plastic bags around the place for depositing our 'deposits' is a good idea.

Cheers!

Rent a stadium is a great idea, but can we get those $$$? Its not fair for Mr. Khoo or anyone just to bear all those responsibility for paying all. Renting a stadium for one day might cost under something like RM5k maybe and its not easy to get those $$$.
I think we should settle for something more simple and cheaper Tongue We should try to start from smaller scale and start doing bigger one once we have some experience. At least we can show people that we start from nothing to something that could make all of us proud.

you are right, i honestly truly agree with you at your point of view.

it just that to me, PuppyCom has the potential to give it a BIG hit~ to me, either with a fun gathering, fun contests... OR, make it a HUGE & outstading event that could represent puppycom. Well~ maybe the theme of Puppython has inspired me something "BIG" to happen. and I strongly believe that Mr. Khoo could make it happen with all the supports from puppycom members.
