hello~! Smile

Elly's Great Dane Lady uses her tail like a weapon too - a powerful whip!! Tongue hehehe...

My dog? Just a mob of fluffy cotton... used to beg for table scrap during dinner, used for 'asking nicely' to lie on the couch with u, used for "can I have some too, please"? Crazy Weapon also, I think!! Tongue

Re: [cherygan] Puppython 2003/2004 [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Chery..yeah, sponsors would be great especially if we have some insiders to "pull some strings" but I'm thinking shud we have probs in getting sponsors, what we can perhaps start off with a fund for this. Each member can contribute say RM2-RM5 and there'll of course be a committee to handle this fund. We can use the money here for the food & drinks, the prizes etc.

The bigger the fund, the more things we can do lah...but if it's on a smaller scale, then maybe we can restrict the events to a max of 5 and 2-3 prizes are given to the best dogs per event???

The committee members won't have to handle all the buying and organising all the time..instead their main task would be to handle the fund. Members can take turns to be in charge of stuff...like Mr A for drinks, Ms B for snacks etc..

Even for classes last time..we always have class fund for year end party etc..so since we're having gathering every other month and there's always supply of food & drinks, I thought this wud be good. For those who are volunteering to make things like, cake, sandwinches...perhaps they can get $ from this fund but of course, if they wanna bring 'em on their own, better still...there'll always be "piranhassss" to finish 'em off Laugh

Hi carynn!

we do give bits of cucumber to chew on sometimes but that's a bad habit!! Every day during dinner there'll be a familiar 'floor mat' under the table, going from one person to another, licking ur toes, lying on ur feet, rubbing his face against ur legs....and when u look down, he's always looking back with that slight tilt in his head and the whole bundle of furry white fur will be moving from side to side furiously...

then a piece of cucumber disappears under the table...Crazy *sigh*

Hehe so when we going to Sban? Anyone else interested in Seremban Lake Garden for a gathering??

hi boon,Wink
its great of u 2 tink bout tis puppython.CoolLaugh
but dont u tink we shoud clean up abit of the rubbish in kk garden first...UnsureCrazy. i know its not us (puppy.com ppl) who dump it tere, but its really eye sore 2 c at tos bottles, paperbags, etc.etc... i dont mean 2 clean the whole garden, but at least around our gathering area. i dont want other residents 2 misunderstand tat we're the one who throw the rubbish tere (altho its not us). worry tey will ban us from anymore gathering. morover, it will b more comfort 4 our future gathering. i'm just suggesting. correct me if i'm wrong....WinkCoolSmileLaughSly

Bermalam a bit susah oh..in the sense that I don't have a place to offer members to sleep....kalau ada pun, limited aje...we want more people to comelah...so a 1-day trip to start off wud be better.

1st we can go makan-makan in the afternoon..then towards eveing we can bring the doggies to the lake or vice versa we can do this in the morning and go for lunch later. OR we can go to PD Cool instead....shall await feedback from you guys Laugh

Hi Carynn, Smile

This is great!! But seriously, we have to go more surveying first. Firstly, to check if they have signs at the lake gardens to keep pets away or not.

But the picnic sure sounds fun! But evening a lot of ppl go and pak tor wan wor....I think morning there's almost nobody at the Lake Garden.

Alllooooo Wink...how "morning" are you suggesting? The few times I lalu the park in the evening, nampak deserted aje..which is why I thought it'll be ok...but morning pun boleh...not too early though coz if I wanna prepare food, then it gotta be in my own house in KL which means I will be driving up only that morning woh...
