Mosquito Repeller Can't Post

Is there a good electonic pest repeller that repells fleas, ticks, mosquito etc in the local market?
If not, any recommended brand that we can purchase from the Internet?

Any advice?
Smile

U want a repeller to get rid of ticks, fleas and also mosquitos??? Ticks and fleas which are not attached to your dogs body or ticks and fleas that are attached? If it is the latter, then try Frontline.....it works wonders

Unless I am mistaken, I don't think there is anything electronic that u can keep ticks away....after all they crawl not fly.....and anyway if your dog goes outside especially in grass area regularly there is no way u can stop them frm getting to your dog

Frontline u can buy it in a pet shop but it is quite dear....big bottle just above RM70 and small one above RM30

I believe there is a gadget developed and manufactured by Sony, known as The Electronic Ultrasonic for pests Model SK5620/FTF against pests, rodents. It works on a very very high frequency sound waves that make these creatures feel uncomfortable and sometimes they simply go crazy and just fainted and drop dead.
If you are interested, I could ask someone who once worked in Sony for more details.

Really? I didn't know Sony Electronic makes such devices....I want one too Smile

As for the mosquitoes, I forgot to mention.....you can buy one of those battery operated mini tennis racket thingy and zap them to death, at the same time practising your back hand shots Sly

Hi Derric,
Yes, i'm interested provided it's proven on mosquito, fleas & ticks...

There're many such products available in the Internet, unfortunately, they only ship within USA /Canada region :(. Generally, these products cost less than US$30.

This product is not from USA. It comes all the way from Japan. and it is not available from the internet, but by special order. Sony as you know also develope this robot dog. They are good at gadgets. I am using one with plenty of success. No ticks, fleas, or mite. In fact my dogs are also sleeping better.
Regards.

Hi Derric,
I've called the Sony HQ, M'sia, but no one knows about such product and the model no.
Hence, I thought of you might have some 'jalan' in this Smile
Also, I can't find such product/model in the Sony global site. (www.sony.com)
Appreciate your help in this.

Hi cdmoo,

I worked in Sony, Prai before and I've actually called up my ex colleagues to inquire about this....it seems this product is no longer in the market....it was made in Japan previously not M'sia, can't say what was the reason they stopped making it but it has been several years since its last production
