It is very kind of you to rescue the dog from the street. It looks like he is out on the street more then a day. Possible to get him to a vet clinic to scan for microchip and have him treated? Put up additional posting of this finding at these websites with your contact number.

This Miniature Schnauzer was reported missing in Bukit Tinggi Klang Selangor on the 2-09-10, Someone saw a young couple who drove a white colour MPV took him, within shoplot area (Sri Melur Restaurant) at Bukit Tinggi 2.
The one you found does look alike after a cross matched and the owner of this missing Schnauzer would like to pay a visit and view this finding. Your cooperation is much appreciated. Below are some pictures of the boy.... Thank you.

This male Miniature Schnauzer that was found by a pet rescuer in SS2/72 PJ early this month, and was sent to Ipoh to be temporary fostered. On 20-10-10 (Wednesday), this boy was brought back to KL thinking it was another MS that was reported missing in Bukit Tinggi, Klang and it was only discharged from the vet hospital on 24-10-10 (Sunday). This boy was being named Kuai Kuai by the family which brought him back.

Since kuai kuai is not chipped, and the likelihood of owner showing up is not that high, and I m not sure if the current foster family wants to adopt him ( awaiting reply )..... and another person wants to adopt him ..... how do we sort this out ?
i m very thrilled that someone wants to adopt him... as long as he will be well taken care of ...

Things are not rosy as some thought... after a full examination was conducted on Kuai Kuai the MS, x-ray shows he is having back problem at pelvic area (malnutrition and could have been a small accident, beaten or abuse), tooth condition not healthy, minor infection to skin and eye cataract at beginning stage. Bones and small stones were found in his digestive system but this was flush out without further treatment or surgery. Unless the adopter is an experience handler, knows what is best in this kind of situation and must be financially prepared lining up the boy to undergo further treatment such as rehab or therapy.

Prudently speaking, i wouldnt assume a dog that has been abandoned / lost to have a clean bill of health.
the very matter of owing a dog is that it comes with responsibility and love , so what more a senior dog that has been on the streets for an unknown period.
so yes, its one of major adoption issue to go through as well.
