28-05-10 (Friday)... notice a distress posting of a missing dog by Kim Yen at Andrew Lee's (Chester's ower) fb wall. A 7 month old female Poodle Cross, named Moon went missing from home on the 27-05-10 (Thursday) at around 10.00am. She forced herself through the grill and ran out from the main gate towards Jalan Sri Petaling 1.
29-05-10 (Saturday)... a posting at puppy.com was made by the owner... contact was made and all relevant information and pictures regards to Moon received. Hengs got the Missing Profile (MP) out by 10.00am and within 30 minutes; the MP was in full circulation. Requested for manpower to assist to distribute around 4500pcs flyers (b&w) were made... in the afternoon Terance, Grace, Kim Yen & Wing Wing, covered Jln Sri Petaling 1 (partially) 2, 3, 5. The group have to stop distributing coz it started to rain. We arrived in Sri Petaling at 5.00pm and by 6.30pm the sky cleared; friends of Kim Yen came... 3 groups were form and did door-door. Jamie was on the roll when the word "GO, WHERE is MOON".... dashed 300 meters to the cross junction along Sri Petaling 1, we were distracted by a person (resident) that pulled his car over by the side and told me not to allow my dog to shit here... well he choose the wrong person to tell off, bottom line we shook hands, LOL. Jamie and I head to different direction turning into Jln SP5. By 7.30pm we all gathered back to base coz shortage flyers... Grace has to go to the photocopy shop number of times to pick up the flyers. We all took a break and had some refreshments. At 9.30pm round 2 begins... widen the circulation in Sri Petaling.
HAPPY HOUR
11.00pm... Jamie, Max and myself head back to base, Kim Yen and company will be back soon... 11.15pm, received call from her...someone called, the dog in Sri Petaling 1, both teams rushed to the location... 11.18pm MOON REUNITED WITH FAMILY.... Mr.Yeoh found Moon at his front gate on the 27-05-10 (same day it ran away) and took her in. Distance between these 2 houses around 400 meters “so near yet so far".... In the afternoon while Kim Yen were distributing flyers, this row of houses were left out coz distracted by another dog that looks like Ruby (Heng's missing girl) and head to different direction... only in late evening flyers were distributed along this row of houses (that’s how contact was made between founder and owner)... even ourselves got distracted by the guy when Jamie dash to the cross junction (Mr. Yeoh's house just 20 meters from the junction)... What a night... Cheers!
