Any particular breed you looking for? I take it as the puppy/dog would be kept indoor. By the way how old is your daughter? Do you have any experience looking after a puppy/dog before? Tq

Toy Dogs for family with children and for beginners:
1) Will not exceed 5kg upon reaching adult hood 2) Good temperament, well train and understand basic command 3) Very healthy (fully vaccinated, dewormed and currently on interceptor tablet) 4) Age of puppy 8 months / male (attachment below is the breed not the dog for adoption; that's the sister millie) 5) Good with children, can be a good watch dog. 6) This breed shreds little to zero, smooth fur with wired appearance.
You can leave your email behind, and will get back to you.

Just a mention concerning long furred dogs. They should be brushed every day else the fur will tangle and then matt. Looks ugly n is uncomfortable for the dog. The owner needs to make time to brush it daily and also to train it to enjoy a brush so it doesn't wiggle. Terriers also should have their whiskers trimmed or cleaned daily else it will be hard and spiky.
Long furred dogs look really nice when they are clean and neat but it does take effort from the owner
