Hi! I'm new to this forum. I've a malinois 7 months old, over hyper and difficult to control. What's your view, if after I sent it for obedience training it will change. or is it normal for this age to behave this way. Any recommendation on a good place for training, especially for malinois. Thanks
But I think in any dog, you can't train out hyperactivity. The only healthy option is to give it adequate exercise so it doesn't jump around as much. At least half an hour, twice a day. But that's a standard dog la. Don't know how much exercise is enough for a belgium malinois.
However, I think if you do send it for obedience training, it would definitely help to control him, especially when the situation absolutely calls for it. Also, maybe enroll him in agility class? Your breed of dog is a working class dog, so it'd benefit from having something to do.
Hi, this is what I do not wish to get into, in particular with you, things of this nature is very subjective so if the person wish to know something that may be controversial, I like to chat with the person directly and if that person wish to post it up and says it is from me than it is fine. I do not "need" to do anything as you have indicated in the forum. You have had some entertaining issues in the forum and the end of the day what was achieved..... nothing.
