Open Class Agility Can't Post

Training your dog to know how to do the obstacle can be easy...but performing the complete course with no faults and at good speed, is another skill that needs both dog-handler communication.

See the 1st Open class level agility by Kofi- he has one refusal at the seesaw ( which I least expected) and a slight hesitation at the jump after the tunnel (which I also least expected) - costed him the loss of precious seconds- easily upto 5-6 seconds.

In Open class, the standard for rate of travel is 3m/sec compared to rate of travel for Novice which is 2.5m/sec.

Re: [rightroyale] Open Class Agility [In reply to] Can't Post

Morning rightroyale,

I am always fascinated with the sport of agility. How do I get started with this wonderful sport ? How can we keep in contact ? Base on your experience, what breed is good for this agility sport. Thanks.

Hello Colin-

PAA is from Penang. If you are interested in the sport, do do some reading the PAA website.

Look at the Agility Sport page-
