Cheap DIY Anti Barking Device Can't Post

Hello All,

I owned a Doberman puppy (4 months old) and stayed in Condominium.......hehehe.

So, barking is very sensitive issue in my building.

My dob pup started to bark........

I finally found out the cheap way to stop my pup from barking

U just need less than RM50........wireless doorbell........

Everytime when your dog bark...press the door bell....your pup or dog will stop barking

The trick is to install the doorbell near where your dog stay.......

Just try it.......RM50 only.....some are cheaper....RM35 also got.

My DIY antibarking is working well with my dobe pup.

I come out the idea after knowing some dog bark when someone press doorbell...and I am can not affort and also dont know where to get the barking e-collar in malaysia (even if found...i guess the price will scare me off too........)

Cheers.......happy trying.........

the door bell is a nice idea, maybe it learnt from you that if the bell is heard to stop barking. but i definately will NOT advice getting the antibark collar. reason being it uses some chemical to cause a quick shock to your dog which i do not really encourage. secondly, sooner or later, they will get use to the smell and start barking again. i'd strongly advice on working from the cause of the bark instead and find a away to stop it, or around it.

Sounds like user is confused between the two types of anti-bark collars.

There are citronella collars but they do not emit a shock. They let out a mist of citronella scent, which dogs don't like. I guess you could say, it's a slightly more "humane" way to correct barking than to use a shock collar but some dogs may get used to the odor.
