Hey, just wondering if anyone can recommend a vet that does dental cleaning for canines?
I brush my fur kids teeth, but I'm not too happy at the plaque build up on 2 of their teeth, and even the lil one's is starting to build up on plaque.
I know it'll likely be pricey but better than them having bad cases of gingivitis (which i think my old lady already has, tsk). ~ A dog is the only one who will love you more than you love yourself~

You have to give them rawhide to bite or even raw bones.. You can try going to my vet in Bandar Puteri. Dr Edmund. I think it should cost less than RM300. Lucky my old lady doesn't have this.. She's perfectly healthy for her age suprisingly.. Took her to jungle trekking with me that day and she got more stamina than me and pull me some more..

i think most vets would be able to perform teeth scaling... not sure how much it costs tho... my dog did it once 5 yrs ago, but now she has lost most of her tooth edi...

Thanks, I prob will once I'm done with this Sophie & her issues. Occupies a lot of time- fasting her, taking her to the vet's, giving her meds, washing up aft her. lol.
Yea these doggies do eat tht rawhide & raw bones, but dunno la, esp this old lady.
She used to have the most beautiful teeth. Now dunno wht on earth is going on.
But she's still cuckoo n bullies me la. LOL. ~ A dog is the only one who will love you more than you love yourself~

once the teeth are scaled , you should start maintaining it by brushing if u can everyday, feed food that will make the dog use the teeth, helps, but it won't clean all the teeth all round, plus old dogs are also tired to chew too much...
use good toothpaste like Orozyme or CET,
