I have a pug (1.5 years old) and having demodex. I have tried all kind of shampoos and treatment but it last for only 2-3 months and comes back again. Pls advise if there's a cure for this and appreciate your advise or experience.
Hmm, demodex needs to be treated with anti biotics. It's inherited so it'll keep on coming back. i think the best way is still to increase her immune system so that it doesn't come back. Usually i'll use malaseb shampoo for it. Maybe you can ask the others here if they got any other suggestions.
my pug has had skin problem on n off (mainly fungal infection), so i've also tried many shampoos, food, n spent a lot on vet bills... i hv no experience with demodex, but i believe feeding ur dog with good quality food will help with ur pug's skin condition... personally, malaseb is too strong for my pug, so now i'm bathing her with selederm, another medicated shampoo from the vet but it's much milder n so far it's good on the skin... i've heard n read some dogs were successfully treated from demodex... let me go read up on demodex now...
btw, which vet do u go to?

Boil bayam in some water, add some organic sugar and 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil... cool down and serve dog with soup and veg. Do this daily if you can otherwise, 2 x a week. You can feed dog with his regular meal... This suppose to detox the dog hence build his immune system.
Another thing is using aloe vera.. use the non toxic aloe vera. Blend the pulp and spread all over the dog, like putting hair gel... few minutes later, rinse off...
Demodex is not curable but controllable. All the best.

I have seen it worked on 2 dogs with bad dermodex case. Their fur did grow back... It works well for human too.. not hair grow back la... but good skin complexion. Let the dog lap up all the soup.. the nutrients mostly inside the soup.

I dont think there's any harm giving dog bayam soup often... the aunty who did this for her dog, Ginger, feed her bayam soup everyday. I normally use the green bayam... red ones causes my dog's beard to change colour... so I prefer the green ones. I am now using honey instead of sugar... heard that honey is also good for dog.
