Relocating feral dogs Can't Post

My husband & I live in a KL condo which has several feral dogs in the vicinity. A few of the older ones have been "hanging out" in the compound for several years and do not cause any problems as they stay away from people and don't bark. However, there are now several juvenile dogs who have a habit of barking incessantly and creating a very noisy environment.

All the feral dogs have been caught for sterilisation by us so there is no issue of the population expanding!

However, the barking by the juveniles are drawing attention from the condo residents and it is only a matter of time before the management take action. We want to spare the older dogs from being removed (after all, they haven't been any problem all these years) so we believe that the best way to resolve this issue is relocate the noisier juveniles.

Can anyone recommend a town/village/community which won't be cruel to feral dogs? These dogs are not adoptable so they must be allowed to live freely but have access to people who are willing to feeding them. As I've mentioned, they're already sterilised so they certainly won't be breeding.

PLEASE HELP!

this is susah ler, there is no guarantee that the dogs will be accepted anywhere, relocating them will only make them feel lost.... and also dogs are very territorial, so putting them in kg barus, other dogs will sure hantam them....

There are many cases like this everywhere, If there is a place to rehome them then there wouldn't be so much stray problems. Some places where you can rehome them might need you to pay a fee at it is maintained by people who will take care of the welfare of the dogs..

Wun mention who but there are some celebrity rescuers who put the dogs that can't be rehomed there. I heard there's a special rate for rescued dogs. Dunno how's the arrangement like.

never hear before.. just got news on noah's ark from ppl who were with them before.. you can always expect a celebrity organisation and rescuer everywhere. When money and fame comes the dog's welfare comes last.. Sad isn't it?

yea sad...
i guess those who found these sanctuary knows that there are enough extra funds from donations to make a good living...

This is lassie's website, if u have heard of BonTon Restaurant back in KL, they are now in Langkawi, and the owner runs this shelter. Its just next to the Bonton Resort. If you go to langkawi, do check out tht place, drop by for food.
