Ermmmm, we can discuss about that in depth....let us first look at the ingredients of both human's deworm and dog's deworm med
1) Zentel contain albendazole
2) Drontal contain pyrantel, prasiquantel, febantel
Well, febantel is actually similar to albendazole (maybe there is something different lah).....then what's the functions of pyrantel and prasiquantel?

Even if febantel and albendazole is really similar ingredient, how about the doses which is effective in human but izzit too strong for dog? maybe this group of drug have so called wide safety margin thingy where it may not cause any toxicity to the dog?

if we giv zentel, how to define whether it is effective or not?

Sorry lah, suddenly too many questions pop up (proud to be a science stream student...hehe)

hi...

some people give their dogs panadol, hoping it'll relieve the dog of any pain they are having... as far as i know, nothing bad happened to their dogs after consuming panadol... but i wouldn't try that with my dog... would u? i can't take that risk...

Why take the risk when you can purchase deworming tablet for RM 5.00 per number (for 10kg weight) ?
